ARTEMIS'

Wearing my green ruffled asymmetric mini dress, I confidently  walked towards our accounting department. All our employees are rushing, avoiding me. My secretary is with me as we enter the area.

Everyone is busy on their screens.

"Ms. Artemis, Nastava Realty is planning to get the agricultural lot that we planned to buy this month. It's an agricultural land located at the southern part of Zamboanga. The market value is low so Nastava is shooting it." my secretary told me as I sat down the swivel chair.

"Who owns Nastava again?" I asked them.

"Mrs. Campbell ma'am. Lolaine Campbell." she answered.

Her name rings a bell. Oh I remember, he is that pilot's wife. I hooked up with her husband and she's obviously getting even.

Yuck, I didn't even sleep with that fcker, it's just that he's so into me.

I rolled my eyes on that thought.

"How much is the company's net worth?" I asked the IT expert in front of me.

He quickly run his computer.
After a moment, he answered.

"It's low as of the moment. They're facing a big crisis, the condominiun they're building just collapsed last week so they need to compensate all their buyers and the people residing near the are. They probably have remaining 150 million by now ma'am."

"How much did she offer to the owner of that land?"

"50m ma'am for the whole area."

Wow. I can't believe that bitch could be this stupid. She's really dragging down their business just to get even.

"Offer them 70M" I commanded him. He looked at me as if I'm joking. I glared at him so he inputted it to his computer.

After a minute , he spoke again.

"Ms. Artemis, the owner made it as an auction. The bidding is starting, only us and Nastava Corporation are fighting for it."

Everyone is focused on the screen as it flashes the online bidding between us and Nastava.

"Nastava offered 100M ma'am!" the other employee exclaimed.

I brushed my hair with my fingers then sat properly on the chair.

"Make our offer 110M." I told them.

They looked at me with hesitation but they still bid it.

"Ma'am, they raised their bid to 130M."

The atmosphere is heavy, everyone is nervous. Parang sila yung naghihinayang sa perang nilalabas ko para dun lang sa lupa.

"Give them 200M!" I said.

Then some members of the board barged inside.

"Ms. Salazar! What do you think you're doing? Seriously? Offering 200M for a land with very low zonal value!?" Mr. Reyes is so mad that I can see his eyes brows touching each other. Tsk, this old man.

"Shut the fuck up old man."I yelled at him.

He didn't bother speaking so I faced the screen again.

"Ma'am, Vastana bid 220M for the agricultural land plus the corporation itself!" my employee said.

Everyone was shocked.

Stupid woman, it's her pride that she's fighting for so she's not thinking straight.

"Drop our offer then. Let her have it for herself." I told them as I got up and walked outside.

I saw surprise and amazement on my employee's eyes.
