☆ How long had it been since the Sullys came in search of Uturu? Who cared anymore? Apparently Tsirina. Tsirina was the middle child of Ronal's three children. She wasn't tsakarem, but that didn't mean she didn't have responsibilities and weight to carry.

Before the Sullys came, her life was easier. She was actually able to properly schedule her days. Yes, her siblings called her foolish for planning out her days fully, but it was the one way she felt that she had some control in her life. Since her mother and father were rulers of their small but powerful clan, she had a title she needed to carry all the time. Which meant that she had little to no control over her freedom. It was blocked by all of the duties she had to fulfill in a single day.

It was annoying, of course, but besides the fact that she had very good healing skills, it made her feel more respected. Even if it was just because of her parents role. That was until the Sullys came. All of Tsirina's life, she had never experienced major change. Maybe a few changes in rules, but that was really it. The Sully's appearance out of nowhere was different, and she hated it. That was a change she wasn't ready or willing to face. At least not fully.

They messed up the "easy" life she had built for herself, if easy meant her stupid planner for every single day that lay ahead of her. To make matters worse, she had to be paired with the most rebellious, chaotic, and annoying kid of all. His name was Lo'ak, and he was about her age, which was fifteen. For a fifteen-year-old, he was pretty reckless and stupid. You'd think that the son of a famous war victor would have some sense, no?

Ever since she was paired to teach this boy, he had done nothing but cause her trouble. Before they even began the first lesson, Tsirina made sure to set a few simple and easy rules for him to follow, and within the span of a week, he managed to absolutely destroy and break every single one. How was that even possible!?

At some point, she was going to have to accept her "unfair" fate and realize she was stuck with this boy for as long as he needed her to be. It had been about almost a year since they came, and here she was still helping him with same techniques he was supposed to grasp, I don't know, maybe months ago? It made her look like a bad teacher when, in reality, he just got distracted way too easily!

"No, Lo'ak, look at me. You're supposed to do it like this." Tsirina spoke, snapping her fingers to get his attention for the 50th time in the ten minutes he had been learning, in her opinion, one of the easiest signs when it came to their sign language. She would make the motion once more at the slow pace she had been going at for the past hour they had been attending this session.

"Can we do something else? Pleaseee, I feel like my head is going to explode if I have to do anymore of this. Literally." Lo'ak protested in the whiny voice he usually had every time she tried to teach him something. Tsirina would roll her eyes, annoyed by his lack of willingness to learn her people's ways. Before she could give him a snarky reply back, the afternoon horn rang through the village, making Tsirina's head twist to the side.

She absolutely hated when Lo'ak got his way in times like these, but she had no choice since that horn meant it was time for the Ilu's to be fed. With a defeated sigh, she would turn her head back to the forest boy. "You're so lucky I have to feed the Ilus. Cmon." She sighed, standing from her spot before quickly stretching her limbs. She never realized how painful it really was to sit in one position for so long. If only Lo'ak... you know what? She wasn't going to go there.

As they approached the hungry Ilu, she noticed Lo'ak's face brightening up, and as much as she hated to admit it, it brought her joy. Their relationship may have been confusing, but deep down, Tsirina cared about him. I mean, come on, she was with him like 24/7, so she got to know him more. Even though he was a total pain in the ass, she enjoyed his company.

"Just wait here, and I'll be back, okay?" Tsirina spoke after finally arriving where the hungry Ilu had lay. Lo'ak's face immediately went from a brightened look to one of annoyance. "Bro, why can't I help?" Lo'ak asked as he attempted to grab the bucket full of fish Tsirina had picked up along the way. Before Lo'ak could get a grip on the bucket, Tsirina had pulled it away, shaking her head.

"Remember the last time I let you feed the Ilu? I specifically told you not to overfeed them, and what did you do? You overfed them, so just let me." Tsirina explained, her grip growing tighter around the basket just in case Lo'ak even had the idea to try and pull it away from her once more.

"Dude, that was like once. I promise I won't do it again. Pleaseee!?" Lo'ak pleaded, wanting to find something that would cure his boredom. Besides, he had no idea how much fish he was supposed to give each Ilu, not his fault! Tsirina looked at him, wanting to reject his pleas, but the way he looked at her with those eyes, how could she?

"Fine, but I swear to Ewya, if you overfeed them again, this will be your last time."

Of course she gave in; it's what she always did when it came to him, but it was because she cared for him and not anything else, right?
