"We stopped it before it could escalate but That child's nose is horribly fractured, he was transported to a hospital soon after the incident occurred"

You sigh"Miss.Kelly I am so so sorry I don't know what's been going on with him lately!"

"Now Mrs.Neverson it's not your fault I know that Brooklyn is a very intelligent kid he excels in math and science and is a great addition to our sports programs, but The state of Georgia has a very strict no bullying policy and we can no longer allow him to cause these types of disruptions, I'm afraid as of today your son has been expelled."

"Miss. Kelly please you cannot do that this is the third school in less than two years! I don't know where else to turn, this is the last middle school in our district! Please reconsider.

"As much as I would love to I can't. State law says that any kind of bullying is strictly prohibited, my hands are tied"

"What am I supposed to do how is he going to get his education?"

"you can try online school" she said handing you a yellow sheet of paper from her desk "This is an online program where he will be enrolled through any other middle school in another district and they will allow him to take all his classes online too avoid any further........umm.. behavioral problems."

You nod while your eyes scan the paper

"So if he does this what about the graduation ceremony at the end of this year?"

"Later on this year he will attend the promotional ceremony just like any other student at the school he is enrolled in, and if he ever needs help with a subject or course test he will be allowed to go to that school for assistance on certain days. This program is a move on when ready. So if he finishes all his classes early he will graduate early. It is a very positive thing and it will keep him out of trouble I truly think you should consider it"

"I honestly don't feel like I have any other choice"

"Oh Mrs.Neverson I'm sure something positive will come out of this"

"I sure hope so"

"Brooklyn is packing his things we'll send him to the front"

"Thank you" you get up and walk out of the office to wait for Brooklyn.

A few moments later he appeared from around the corner with his bag in hand and an unhappy expression.

The car ride was really quite which you expected, he always gives the silent treatment when he's upset and or in trouble even when he was a little 7 year old.
