Aria sat at her desk attempting to finish up some editing but in to much of a daze to do so. Her body and mind just to tired from the stress of packing all week long.
When Aria's parents had sat her and her brother down for a family meeting almost three months ago she new it was serious, but she just wasn't quite prepared for the news of moving out of her childhood home and to a new and big city like Nottingham. In the end it had all worked out perfectly because that's where her dream university happened to be, or it would have If she could just speed up time to see if she had gotten in yet. She sent in her application six weeks back but still yet to hear a pep. The most frustrating part of it all was that her mom made sure to tell the post office to send all mail to the new house. It just killed her inside to know that all the worrying could of been done and over with by now but no, because now her precious letter is at some house she has never seen collecting dust.
(Aria's POV)
Many breathless sighs and annoyed groans later my little brother Grayson bursts into my room "Aira! The moving truck came early mom says to get the rest of your crap together and get in the car to go!" He yells and then rushing out to go pack for the long car ride to Nottingham.
I jump up immediately startled and grab what's left of the empty boxes to pack my computer set up. I grab a book bag for everything I wanted to keep with me. Grabbing my laptop, iPad, and phone, then going to the other side of the room for my chargers, wallet, notebooks, guitar, and earbuds. It was probably a bit much but I've always been quite the prepared person.
By the time we were done lugging and pulling things into the big moving truck it was already late into the night. Me and Grayson went with Mum in the car while Dad drove the truck. As we started down the high-way I rolled my eyes as Grayson began to play a Vod he had downloaded on YouTube Premium. It was of his new favourite streamer. Some loud British boy with angry issues talking to someone's mother well playing Minecraft. I pulled out my phone and popped my earbuds in trying to drown out the screaming.
After maxing the volume on my earbuds playing the Hamilton soundtrack my mind wonders off.
What would it be like?
Will we ever move back?
Will I be happy there?
What if I didn't get into university?
Or what if I did?
Will I be alone again?
I begin to tear up at the painful memories that fight there way to the front of my mind. This time will be different; it has to be.
When I was younger my parents had just started there business freelance developing and programming. The business was small and slow having little to know profit. As a result my peers always picked on and isolated me. As if just because my net worth was less somehow I was too. By the time my parents business had grown and there was no longer a gap in, as they would see it 'my worth' I was already labeled because they say I'm disturbed. Well, of course I'm disturbed. I mean, the blend of blindness and blandness of my home town just makes me want to do something crazy. I'm sick of being ashamed. I don't mind being dejected and rejected, but I'm not going to be ashamed about it.
I would be a dirty liar though if I said I didn't get jealous. Seeing all the things my peers got out of life, experiences like, sleep overs, birthday party's, and school dances. All well I spent my whole teen life thus far as the class reject.
My childhood wasn't a completely lonely one though. I quickly found gaming as a huge stress reliever and made a few online friends over the years. None that i talk too all that often though but my best friend Jane. I can't believe I'm actually going to meet her. After almost two years of friendship we are finally going to meet up in person for the first time. At least I know someone in Nottingham it's going to make everything so much better.
I'm dragged out of my daze when I feel my pocket buzz. Pulling out my phone I start to smile my earlier sadness completely gone. Speak of the devil.

I feel the smile tugging harder at my lips and quickly type out a reply making plans to meet up when I arrive at my new home. We talk until my lids are heavy and ears hurting a bit from having my earbuds in for too long. Then before I know it I lose the fight for consciousness.
—TIME SKIP—
I woke up to the sound of busy streets and city lights, I was finally here my new home. I look up to see mum turn down a suburban middle class street. A simple "Wow" was all I managed to say, it was most definitely different from what I was used too.
She looked back at me through the review mirror and smiled as we pulled up to the house where Dads moving truck sat already parked in the driveway. Quickly sending Jane my location while Mum shock Grayson awake I took off my seat belt, I needed to see the mailbox. I started to sprint almost nocking a few of our new neighbours down who were helping to move the boxes in.
Finally I let out a heavy sigh as I picked up the letter. Tarring into it immediately to see the bold words.
Congratulations! On behalf of the university community, I am pleased to announce your admission for this fall!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, I need to celebrate with Jane now more then ever!
Tommy's POV
I watch as my subscriber count goes higher and higher until it finally hits the number I've been waiting for all morning. As of this moment the official Tommyinnit channel has 1 million subscribers.
Quickly calling a few friends to come out and film for me, I gathered my camera equipment then tugged on my shoes. All I new was this was going to be the best vlog ever.
