Y/n POV:

I walk into the room sweating, as I put on an awkward smile and sat down. It was my first ever meeting as the new hashira. All the hashiras smiled at me except for Muichiro, Giyuu and Sanemi. 'Ah, it's them.'  I was sweating from head to toe, there was awkward silence as the hashiras sat down.

 As Master Ubuyashiki came in, we all quickly bowed and sat back up. "Hello my children... We have a new hashira joining us, Y/n L/n." The hashiras all turned to look at me as I smiled awkwardly towards them. "And I would like you to make her feel welcome and safe."

I was training as the rain suddenly poured down, 'Huh? Why is it suddenly raining...'  I sighed, sheathing my sword. "Hmm....That's wierd..." I walked back inside, realising I was dripping wet "Shit."

 My bird looked over at me and sighed "Girl, why are you so wet? Having a nice shower out there in the rain?" I shot a glare at the crow who was standing behind me in the rain looking disgusted. "Or is that sweat..." He looked at me up and down backing away, 'I swear to god this fucking bird...' I thought rolling my eyes, sighing,

I sucked in my breath, clenching my fist, annoyed. "No I just walked all the way here, and its not sweat you dumb shit." Kazumi ruffled his feathers as he shot me a glare, opening his beak to protest.

 But before he could say thing, I cut him off. "Anyways, I'll take a shower now goodbye" I said waving a hand behind me as I walked into my bedroom, getting my towel. "Hmm... I should wash my uniform...I think so at least."

 I looked down at my hashira uniform, embarrassed and uncomfortable at the design, it was the same uniform as Mitsuri's. Luckily, Shinobu had a smaller extra pair of the same uniform she wore. I took it out from the closet as I put it onto my chest, measuring the size of the uniform to see if it'll fit me. 'This is slightly big...but I think it'll be alright i guess...'

I walked to the bathroom, turning on the shower water, excited for my hot shower. I cleansed myself as I suddenly remembered the meeting, 'I have to go on a mission with the mist hashira...he seems my age, fourteen to fifteen right? I don't know. Whatever, maybe I could become friends with him?'  I was so lost in thought I forgot that I left Kazumi outside of the house. 

I quickly wrapped a towel around me as I opened the door, I was laughing at how soaked he was. "Hahahahaha! I- I- I... can't!" I laughed, trying to catch my breath as the crow pecked me on the forehead, making me bleed. "OW! What was that for?!" I asked wincing as i held my forehead.

"Deserved!" Kazumi glared at me and ruffled his feathers again, shaking water all over my house, I scoffed as I stopped the bleeding and put on a bandage. "Ugh...Fuck you, you piece of shit." I said to Kazumi, who rolled his eyes at me and flew into his little bird house I made for him a year ago. "Ugh..."

As the sun rose, they birds all started chirping. I groaned as I got out of bed. But instead of getting up from bed, I rolled onto the ground, leaving a thud. "Ow..." I winced in pain as I rubbed the back of my neck and head. 

"That hurt..." I said wearing the uniform that Shinobu gave me, "Eh...It kind of fits I guess..." The sleeves were slightly longer but I didnt mind.

I made my way out to the town, when I bumped into three boys, a boy who had hanafuda earrings, another boy who had yellow hair and lastly a boy with a boar mask.
