It was one of the coldest nights of December.
Why December has to be like this?
She was lucky as there was still no one in the house. She was still crying, she ran towards her room and sat down on the floor with her back against the sofa.
She heard someone knocking at her door after some 30 minutes, but she didn't say anything, she wanted to be alone because she was broken, she was betrayed and betrayed by the love of her life.

She sounded more angry than hurt.
"Meerub, listen to me. You have your entire life in front of you. Okay. And I heard you that day when you were telling Aahil you love him." He paused, and she looked at him with astonishment and embarrassment.
"And the way you said, I knew you have honest feelings but I was not sure about my brother, I warned him, I warned him to not hurt you but he did. He is like this, he has always been like this, he always loved to break his toys instead of keeping them but this time, it felt different, he seemed genuine with you, I don't know where I was wrong."
Meerub was looking down at the floor. She didn't want to hear his lecture at this hour.
"You know Meerub, God made Adam first, But Adam was so lonely so God created Eve from Adam's ribcage, and they were happy together but again they did a mistake and were sent down to earth, both at different places, but Adam kept searching for Eve, he kept crying for his forgiveness and also for Eve, he asked Allah to unite him with her and eventually they met again.
Now, the point is every Adam has their Eve, it takes some time but they are united, all Eve has to do is to wait for his Adam to search for her." He explained again, she listened to this story very carefully.
"What I am going to tell you now, might hurt you more but it is what it is. Your baba, somehow, came to know you are in a relationship with some guy."
Meerub looked at him, her pupils got expanded out of surprise.
"And he wanted you to come back and leave your studies and he would get you to marry one of his brother's sons. And I don't know what else they would have done." He paused again, and looked at Meerub and Meerub was looking at the painting of a boat floating in a storm that was hung on the room's wall.
"So, I told them it was me who was with you at that cafe, it was always me with you who went outside.
Because I know it's your dream to become a doctor and I don't want a single mistake of your life to take it away from you." She looked at him.
"But, I was also being selfish because I love you, Meerub, I can't imagine a future without you. I will heal all your scars, I will love you to the point where you won't even remember if something has ever hurt you or shattered you. And, I will forgive you like you never did anything,"
He took her hands into his.
"Oh MY God Your body is burning like hell."
He stood up and made her stand up.
"Sit on the bed."
He said and went towards her study table and searched for medicines, found a medicine, and filled water in a glass from a jug present there, when he turned back she was still standing.
