Puppyfied Mishaps

Chapter 3

Kazuha and Chaewon managed to catch up with Eunchae and Sakura. While nearing the store, they saw that Eunchae was excitedly jumping up and down while pointing at the new candies that were on display.

"Yah Kkura, you got to try this. I'm telling you this is way better than those lame excuses of candies you always buy."

"Don't discriminate my nougats like that..." Sakura rolled her eyes as she continued to look at other sweets through the window.

Once Kazuha and Chaewon reached the other two, they made their way into the store. Inside the store, they were greeted with shelves upon shelves of many kinds of succulent-looking sweets imaginable; ranging from the classic sweets like Nougats, Chocolates, and Toffees to the questionable ones like Elephant on a bicycle, Chocolate frogs (Kazuha swore she heard some Hogwarts students screaming about a sudden outbreak of jumping chocolate frogs at the back of the store) and also Cockroach Clusters....what is up with all of these weird animal candies.

Sakura, Eunchae, and Chaewon dispersed off in different directions which left Kazuha on her own with her thoughts, ever since walking to Honeydukes, she had this constant gnawing feeling in her and she can't seem to pinpoint what it was. She notes that she felt much lighter and had fewer movements in her robe.

'Did Yunjin fall asleep?' Kazuha slightly opened her robe pocket and peeked inside, however instead of being greeted with a pile of golden fur she instead was met with nothingness. Her eyes grew wider as a string of curses escaped from her mouth, 'There's no fucking way I lost her.'

Kazuha swiveled around and exited the store; she began searching around the area in hopes that maybe Yunjin just felt uncomfortable in her robe and wanted some fresh air.

'Yunjin don't play with me right now, where the hell are you...'

Desperate times call for desperate measures, so Kazuha decided to shout Yunjin's name out loud while ignoring the stares of the people passing by. Dogs have very good hearing so this should do the trick, right?

To her dismay, there were no signs of a small golden retriever anywhere, she even tried asking people around whether they saw a golden puppy roaming around. Unfortunately, all of her inquiries were met with a shake of the head.

A sense of dread started seeping into Kazuha, 'where could she have possibly gone to??'

While deep in thought, she suddenly felt a tap on her shoulder which caused her to let out a yelp in surprise, she turned towards the culprit and saw that it was Eunchae.

"You okay? looks like you've seen a ghost." she had her eyebrow raised at her, and behind her followed Sakura and Chaewon, both of them spotting a worried and confused expression on their faces.

"You suddenly disappeared from the store, why?" It was Sakura's turn to ask her, Kazuha went quiet as she began weighing her options on whether she should just tell them about her losing Yunjin.

'I could try to find her on my own...actually, no that's a terrible idea' she heaved a long sigh before answering.
