standing in front of the door, angelina was nervous. with her fists holding onto her sleeves and her feet tripping, she just decided to do it. she knocked on the door.

it was weirdly enough only a 20-minute drive to his house from angelina's. so angelina wasn't necessarily tired yet and she was actually really looking forward to talking with harry in real life and not just on a screen.

deep breath in. deep breath out.

after a few seconds, the door creaked and opened. there he was.

he was dressed casually wearing a hoodie with written damn in four big letters and a pair of blue jeans. angelina was suddenly relieved and a bit glad that he had dressed casually too, and she felt a lot more comfortable in her denim shorts and knitted sweater.

"hi angelina," harry smiled brightly at angelina with his dimples popping out.

i was kind of hard for angelina to act all cool not only was he a celebrity but he was definitely also more handsome up close and personal. her mouth curled up. "hi back,"

with a glint in harry's eye, he invited her in. the feeling was definitely mutual.

"wine?" he said while angelina was slowly but surely looking around and examining his place. harry was grateful he had cleaned up a bit before she came over.

"yes please, been a long week," angelina sighed and looked out of the big window seeing all the bright lights of the city in front of her.

harry couldn't help but smile. "red okay? it's always good after a big week."

angelina turned her head towards harry. harry had just stopped in front of the kitchen counter and she slowly rounded it to the other side. "sounds perfect," she smiled.
"you know sometimes i just feel like i can't keep up with all my planes and then the simplest things like making dinner just tip me over."

"yeah, i get exactly what you mean." harry laughed a little to himself while finding a pot to pop the popcorn in. "had a pretty hectic week as well. but it's certainly much better now."

angelina felt her cheeks flush but before she could say anything back harry asked her to pass the popcorn kernels.

"i love popcorn so much you have no idea." angelina laughed and he smiled wide at her comment.

"what kind of oil do you use?" harry wondered, he wasn't necessarily the biggest fan of popcorn. but for her? that didn't matter and to be honest, after she had texted if he had popcorn he had hurried up and bought the most promising popcorn kernels he could find and hoped it would do.

angelina took a sip of her red wine and walked over standing next to the stove and next to harry.

"em sunflower oil will do," she said pouring a bit in the pot and pushing on some buttons to heat up to oil while harry was pouring the kernels in so they could pop some popcorn.

conversation between harry and angelina flowed so easily. there definitely wasn't any awkward cloud hanging over them anymore. it just felt normal.

harry kept glancing at angelina smiling uncontrollably at the sight of her standing beside him.

the pan was slowly getting hot and you could start hearing the sizzling of the oil heating up. angelina eyes trailed up to meet his. he couldn't stop looking at her. "what?"

"nothing?" he said unsure taking in her crystal blue eyes.

"nothing?" she tilted her head with furrowed eyebrows. she knew exactly what she was doing.

"mhm," he mumbled and suddenly you could hear a pop. and then another and then another. and then multiple at the same time. and then surely a popcorn flew by between them.

a confused angelina turned her head and gasped with a giggle. "harry you forgot the lid!"

"what?" harry widened his eyes and in reflex he covered the pot with his hands. "no- ow,"

she couldn't stop laughing and reached for his wrists pulling his hands away from the pot. "harry are you dumb,"

harry's eyes crinkled and he began laughing as well. "i thought you were professional since you like popcorn so much." popcorn kept falling on the floor and laughs kept falling out of harry's mouth.

"it's your house, i didn't think of a lid!" she said still holding harry's wrists but letting go when harry told her the lids were in the cupboard beside her.

he cackled when she unfortunately reached for a small lid and it didn't even cover half of the pot. popcorn was still spilling out and he was sure his whole house smelled like popcorn now.

"shut up," she said but couldn't help but smile and let out a laugh. "it was a mistake."

after the popcorn incident, chatting for ages in the kitchen and cleaning up every bit of popcorn on the floor they were now sitting down on the couch with their second glass of wine for the evening.

angelina had always heard, especially from ivy, that harry was a nice guy but sitting here speaking with him was a real eyeopener. so could swear she hadn't met anyone nicer or more genuine than him.

and even when the clock struck midnight and she really had to go home because she had eros to take care of in the morning. harry was nothing but understanding.

standing by the front door. harry pulled her in for a hug, taking in the smell of her delicate perfume hoping i would linger a bit longer on his hoodie, and gave her a kiss on the cheek. they both decided to meet up again next week for a coffee and angelina got in the uber with the biggest smile plastered on her face.

she was everything he wanted.
