Chapter 1- News

~Naomi's POV~

"Naomi!! Where are you? We need to talk about this!" My mother called from down stairs. I just got the news that I was moving in with my dad, I didn't want to know why, I din't want to listen to my mom, I just wanted to stay here, and not move with my dad. My dad left my mom when I was 9 years old, he didn't say goodbye, he just left. It's been 8 years since I saw him, and I didn't want to have a "reunion"

"I don't want to talk about it. I don't even see why I have to go. You've never made me see him, or talk to himfor that matter, so why do I have to start now?" I asked as my mother came into my room and  sat down on my bed. "Because, I talked to your dad last night. He misses you. He told me why he left, and said he'd explain it to you, if he had to. We agreed you'd go stay with him for the summer, and then since you'll be 18 by the time summer's over, you can choose to live there, or here." My mom told me. I sighed and said, "Fine. But, he better not expect me to stay with him after summer." 

My mom nodded, kissed me on the forehead and walked out of the room. I followed her, I still had a couple questions about my trip.

We went into the kitchen and sat down at the table, "When am I leaving?" I asked my mom, who was sitting directly across from me. "Tomorrow. Your flights at 10." She replyed. I looked at her, with a shocked expression. I can't believe she'd book me so soon. I thought I might have at least a week or two, so I could say goodbye to everyone... Not that I had anyone to say goodbye to or anything, but she didn't know that. "Fine. Whatever. I'm gonna go pack." I said as I got up from the table and stormed up the stairs, I got to my room and got out my suitcase. I started shoving clothes in it, I didn't even pay attention towhat I was putting in it. 

I must have fallen asleep while I was packing, because I woke up the next day with clothes strung out all over me. My mom was just about to come wake me up, until she saw that I was already up. I shoved the remaining clothes on my bed, into my suitcase and zipped it shut. I went and got dressed and went downstairs to find my mom standing at the table, purse and keys in hand ready to go. "Ready?" She asked
