You could see the headlines of those celebrity magazines now: "Baby PeeWee Herman On the Way!" Although, you weren't exactly sure how you were going to handle the publicity. All that could wait, however.

You sat on the bed you and Paul shared. You had been together for two years, and you had both wanted to move in together. Marriage had not yet crossed your minds, let alone children, yet here you were.

Goosebumps flashed down your body and a warm sensation pooled in your stomach. Your knees shook a little; you honestly were so anxious for Paul to get home from one of those conventions. He had been gone for a week, and you had waited since Saturday so you could tell him in person that you were pregnant.

"I'm pregnant," you whispered incredulously. You looked down to your stomach (even though it was too early for you to show) and smiled. You placed your hand on your belly and splayed your fingers. You and Paul had made this little life that was growing inside you. It was incredible.

You couldn't help but worry, though. What if he didn't want this? He was, after all, in his 60s. He was old enough to be your dad, so what if he decided he didn't want to be a dad? You didn't care about his age: you loved him all the same. Besides, whenever you saw him with children, you knew he would be a fantastic dad. That was one of the reasons why you found him attractive. But what the hell; if Alec Baldwin and George Clooney could become dads at their age, why couldn't Paul Reubens?

You heard the front door open and your heart leaped. You stood.

"(Y/n), I'm back!" Paul exclaimed. You walked out of the bedroom to meet him in the living room. Goosebumps once again prickled all over your body as you saw the love of your life smile at you.

"I'm sorry I couldn't come pick you up. I only got home from work half an hour ago," you said, embracing Paul after he had set down his suitcase.

He pulled away from you to look you in your eyes. "It's fine, sweetheart," he reassured. Paul gave you a soft and loving kiss. "I missed you," he murmured into your lips.

You chuckled as you deepened the kiss, placing your hand on the back of his neck. Gently pulling apart, you grinned as you gazed into your lover's eyes. "There will be plenty of time for that later, all right?"

Paul laughed in response. "Is that so?" He squeezed your shoulders and gently ran his hands down your sides and to your hips.

As much as his touch was enticing to you, you playfully swatted his hands away. "Yes. Now, go unpack. There's something I need to talk to you about," you said.

Paul comically rolled his eyes and huffed, but then smiled and kissed you on the cheek. "Be right back." He took his suitcase into the bedroom.

You sat on the couch and leaned back. Your heart pounded in your chest as the moment drew closer. Involuntarily, you brought your hand to rest protectively over your stomach.

"You should have gone to the convention, (y/n). You would have enjoyed it. It was bigger than a lot of the others I've been to," Paul called from inside the bedroom.

"I'd love to hear everything about the convention," you replied when he came out.

Paul smiled and sat next to you on the couch. He placed his hand on your knee and said, "I'll tell you everything, but that can wait."
