MADELYN

💌

Madelyn woke up the next morning with a warm feeling in her chest. When she fully arose and became aware, it dawned on her that she broke up with Jackson the previous day. She knew it was necessary, but it still hurt. Nevertheless, she was thinking about Gracie last night in the bathroom. In fact, Madelyn even dreamed about Gracie, she was all she could think about. She texted Caro to check up on her since she was extremely wasted yesterday.

Maddie💗

Hey, did you get home ok?

Caro🤓

Yeah. Where were you last night, You good?

Maddie💗

Im fine, I just wasn't feeling great

Caro🤓

Ok, i'm here if you need anything Mads

Madelyn sat up in bed and yawned, she didn't drink that much last night, but her head still hurt. Even she acknowledged that she was a bit of a lightweight. Out of curiosity, Madelyn clicked on Gracie's Instagram profile. She felt like a stalker, but after their interaction, Madelyn couldn't stop thinking about the brunette. Madelyn never went out of her way to listen to Gracie's music, but she did enjoy it when it would pop up. She slowly scrolled through Gracie's page, taking in her beauty. She was amazed by Gracie's precious smile and dark hair.

Madelyn hesitantly tapped the message box and sat while staring at it. What could she send to her that wouldn't be creepy?  She thought about letting this moment pass and not acknowledging it, but the feeling was so overwhelmingly strong. She thought for a few minutes but couldn't come up with anything. She then thought about complimenting Gracie or asking her to hang out, but Madelyn didn't type anything.

Suddenly, three bubbles popped up from Gracie's side...she was typing. Madelyn's heart skipped a beat and she accidentally threw her phone across the room. Madelyn put her hands over mouth when she realized the damage she did to her wall, a phone sized dent appeared before her eyes. Her heart was still beating fast out of shock from seeing Gracie type. She thought to herself  "Why am I so nervous?"

Madelyn slowly stood up and walked across the room to pick up her phone. She ran her hands over the now textured wall and giggled to herself quietly. By that time, the typing had stopped and Gracie's messages arrived. Her palms sweat as she sat back down on her bed and opened Instagram.
