I walked down the clean, white corridor until I reached the door at the end. The questions of how I had gotten here and where I was were spinning in my head.

I reached out and turned the silver doorknob, and as the door creaked open I peered inside. It was black. As my eyes focused I saw the silhouette of a man, and then he vanished.

I slowly continued through the door. I felt the cold walls, trying to find a light switch as I grew more and more frightened of what could or could not even be there.

I heard an extremely loud click as I flicked a switch, and turned around with my back against the wall, protected from whatever might be there when I turned around. As I looked around I realised I was in another white corridor, except much bigger this time. I continued through the second hallway, the feeling I was being followed was growing in the back of my mind, as was the feeling that there was someone else in this room, but only when the lights were off.

I decided to continue to the white door a few metres down the corridor. I felt someone's presence behind me and spun around, only to find they were no longer there. I turned to continue down the corridor, to find the door was gone.

Then the lights went out. I silently screamed and sank to the ground. I felt this sudden warmth as if someone was leaning over my shaking body.

I opened my eyes to find the lights were on and the door had not moved. I rubbed my eyes and stood. I took a big breath and began walking towards the door once again.

I reached the end of the hallway and began to extend my arm towards to the doorhandle, and paused. Convincing myself there was nothing behind the door and that I would be okay, I turned the knob and walked in.

This time the room was lit up. It was a huge square room, with two big doors to my right. But there was something else different in here. There were people. And they were all watching me.

I stood in shock and quickly turned around to find the door I had just been through was no longer there. I sank to the floor, pulled my knees up to my chest and closed my eyes tight.

I tried to picture what the room looked like in my head so I could figure out an escape. I remembered the big doors to my right and decided to make a run for it.

I quickly jumped up and began running only to find there was a wall of people now surrounding me. They were speaking words I could not understand and were reaching out with their cold cruel hands.

I heard a voice say "Let's return her to her room. Be gentle."

Then someone stepped towards me and grabbed my wrists. They turned me around to the door I had thought had just vanished, but had now returned. Then I was gently pushed through the doorway I had just been through.

This time there were other doors on the side of the walls, which were not there before, but we walked past them all until we reached the first doorway I came through. I was led through it to find the same hallway but again with doors on the walls. I was abruptly turned into one of the doors on the walls. I went inside to find another small white room, with one bed.

I climbed onto the hard bed and lay down. The person who I now saw as a man walked over with a pointed object. I looked on as he put it into my arm. I felt the cold liquid run through the inside my arm. I looked up, feeling drowsy, to find the man was gone and the door was closed. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I jumped up in my bed. My arm was hurting and I had no idea where I was.I heard a growl and saw a shadow in the gap under the door. I climbed under the bed just as the door opened. A black shadow with an indescribable face walked in. I took this as my opportunity to escape. I sprinted out and closed the door behind me.

I jogged through the clean, white corridor until I reached the door at the end. The questions of how I had gotten here, why I was being chased and where I was were spinning in my head.
