Sweet treat

Reo's birthday-August 12th? Not sure but I wrote a birthday special for him...

5th August:

A poster went up a few weeks before. It's been making people go crazy. "Gah." Bachira sighed as he also saw the poster up. "Look, we have to do a singing competition for Reo-chan's birthday."

"Do we have to... It's such a pain." Nagi sighed. Isagi saw the smallprint as he sighed. Nagi knew what this meant. This is stupid.

"Cheer up you three."Bachira said to Nagi, Isagi and Rin who were all unwilling to do this. "There is a party so it's worth it."

"I would rather not go then sing. I have much better things to do." Rin sighed as Reo appeared to the group.

"Good morning. I see you have read the poster." Reo chimed as he was happy this morning. He was excited to hear Nagi sing. The only reason was to hear Nagi. He barely talked to anyone. All he said was 'it's such a hassle or it's such a pain.' It is truly a hassle.

"Reo." Isagi said. "Do we really have to? I mean I bet half of us will squawk like crows. We are that bad."

"Come on, Isagi-kun, it's fun. It's a change from the usual office life. You can also sing in duets, trio or even a band if you guys really want. It's not just all solos." Reo smiled as Isagi nodded with his usual smile.

"But.." Rin said. "We can help you organise the event so that way it is much easier for both you and Chigiri to organise the event. Isagi, Nagi and I will help." Reo thought for a bit but declined.It will be memorable if Nagi sings.

"It such a hassle." Nagi sighed.

"Come on!" Bachira said. "We can create a band."

"Bachira, we can't play instruments..."

"Well I think Rin can play the piano."

"Shut it!"

"Nagi can play the guitar as I heard from Hayate." Nagi gave his usual ':x' face

"That settled then. I can play the drums. Nagi plays the guitar, Rin is on keyboard and Isagi sings."

Rin sighed, at least he won't have to sing.

"Wait!" Isagi shouted. "I don't want to sing!"

"Well..." Nagi said. "Everytime we go to your house and you're showering you start singing. Wait, I have a recording."

"Shut up Nagi." Isagi groaned

"Wait..." Rin thinks. "We can fake illness on that day and Reo will not make us sing. Well Isagi has to fake ill since the rest are not singing."

"Damn clever Rin," Nagi sighed. "We got out of this"

Rin had a smug face... well that is until Shindou came barking into the conversation with Sae behind him.

"Gah Sae is there. Hide me." Rin hissed as he hid behind Nagi so quickly that Shindou did not even see him.

"Hey you three!" Shindou shouted. "Sae and I are going to sing a love song together to show how connected we are."

Sae rolled his eyes as he now spotted Rin behind Nagi's back.

"Rin, stop hiding behind Nagi. I don't think he likes it." Sae said sharply as Rin scoffed.

"RinRin there you are." Shindou gaped as if it was magic. "Sae and I-"

"I heard.." Rin sighed. He hated to see Shindou with that smug face next to his so-called brother.

Nagi eyes dropped as Rin and Shindou were now arguing about what nonsense. He just wanted to go home and game or do whatever he fancied.

"How lukewarm," He hears Rin tuts at Shindou and thus the conversation ended between many attempts to sleep by Nagi.

"Nagi, lets go." Isagi shook Nagi. Isagi was such a mom. He was like the mom of the group. Nagi gave a yawn for the signal and slowly walked with Isagi back to the office prepared to 'work' on the song.

Reo peered from his office. He hated the closeness between Nagi and Isagi. They were close... too close in his liking. Jealousy rose in his bloodstream as Isagi now ruffled the taller white haired boy's hair. "I'll embarrass Isagi when singing. That makes Nagi hate him..." Reo hissed as Chigiri stood behind him ready to tell him some terrible news that Rin just extend him.

"Reo..." Chigiri sighed as he knew what Reo was going to say. "You know... Rin Itoshi, Nagi Seishiro, Isagi Yoichi and Meguru Bachira are not going to sing..."

Reo faced dropped as he wanted Chigiri to answer.

"They have to meet with someone for the collaboration with Hayate. Remember. On that day of the singing competition. Sorry Reo..."

Reo's face flushed as he remembered the agreement which he was too busy thinking of Nagi and he agreed. How stupid of him.

12th August:

Happy birthday, Reo thought to himself. He sighed as he knew what was happening. At night was the singing competition and tomorrow he was meeting his parents. He had at least 10 hours to get rid of until he heard a notification on his phone.

"Another happy birthday message I presume..." Reo whispered. He looked at his phone, surprised that it was not a happy birthday message.

Reo read the message from Bachira, surprised that the upbeat man told him to come to the office.

Reo sighed but he did not want to hurt Bachira's feelings so he decided to go. When Reo go their Bachira came out in this waiter costume. "So it your birthday Reo... so Isagi, Nagi, RIn and I decided to make a meal for you since we felt bad."

Reo smiled as he noticed Bachira was the waiter.

"I will lead the way Mr Reo." Bachira chuckled as Reo followed him, placing a menu when they both reached the table. Reo scanned around. It was not fancy but not cheap.

Reo smiled as he saw Nagi there in a posh suit, which he never wears, handling the drinks like he had experienced the feeling years back. He could hear Isagi and Rin arguing in the kitchen. Here is your drink, the Nagi special. Reo smiled at Nagi while taking a sip. The flavours matched each other so perfectly. Reo was pleased with the drinks as his appetiser came. It was nice and all but it seemed a bit overcooked but Reo did not mind. Reo enjoyed the feeling of the main and finally the dessert came. It looked like a lemon cheesecake. He was not a big fan of lemon flavoured things but he was willing for a bite or two. Bachira served this while saying how Nagi baked this for them once and he had to bake it again for Reo. Reo was really pleased with the texture and flavouring. Reo was thinking how Nagi should be his personal chef instead.

Reo handed them a tip and they all refused. He was going to put it in their monthly wage. Reo thanked once again as he knew he had to brace himself for the show tonight. It was a waste Nagi was not going to come...
