Time skip 1 day.

Tanjiro and nezuko arrived in tokyo to nezuko's surprise the bright lights made it perfect to see even though it was the dead of night. Chuckling at nezuko’s reaction, tanjiro began to prepare for a fight.

Note tanjiro is unaffected by the bright lights because he was raised in the red light district

We should stay together here, said Tanjiro, it's easy to get lost here and if that happens we might not find our way again. Ok replied nezuko. Shortly after this tanjiro and nezuko sat down on a bench in the park contemplating where to begin searching for the demon. Tanjiro went and bought udon noodles for the both of them sitting back down on the bench. Tanjiro sighed. How are we going to find this demon he said thinking out loud. I'm not sure, replied nezuko. We may have to split up for this. This morning, she said, I woke up on top of you. I wanted to apologize for that. Eyes widening tanjiro spoke up, you don't need to apologize you were asleep so you didn’t know what you were doing. Did you see anything she asked? Well the front of your uniform was open which caused the top of your breasts to show, tanjiro said casually. Did you like them she asked? Well replied tanjiro, i’d be lying if i said i didn’t. To Tanjiro's shock, Nezuko had disappeared. He felt a presence behind him. About to look back he was surprised when nezuko wrapped her arms around him pressing her breasts against his back. Blushing tanjiro began to stutter, nezuko what are you doing. Don't you like it she said? Reaching up, nezuko grabbed the side of his head gently pointing it towards hers. Eyes widening, Tanjiro tried to fight but found his body wasn't obeying him. Inches away from each other's face, Nezuko closed her eyes. 5 inches, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 1. mere centimeters away from each other, Tanjiro's brain was flooded with the memories of himari, what he had to do. Realizing that if this went on any further muzan would have him kill nezuko just as he had with himari. Pulling away, Tanjiro stood up and turned away from nezuko. Not wanting to look back at the eyes he knew were releasing tears. It's not you nezuko, he said, it's me. I don't deserve someone like you. I need to go and clear my head, he said before walking away.

Time skip 10 minutes

Tanjiro was walking through the streets of tokyo thinking of nothing but himari and how he had to kill her. Not wanting that for nezuko tanjiro had chosen to deny her to protect her. Walking through the crowds, Tanjiro turned into an alley, coming face to face with the man whom Nezuko believed killed her family. Lord muzan, he said before bowing. Ah hello tanjiro how has your mission been going he asked? I have successfully infiltrated the demon slayer corp. Recently I have killed both a hand demon on mount fujikasane and a swamp demon in a village to the northwest. But lord muzan, i have a question. What is your question tanjiro? The slayer I have been traveling with claims her family was murdered by a demon. At first I considered a unranked demon but last night she was saying your name in her sleep, saying that you were the one who killed her family. I simply want to know if this is true? What is her name, asked muzan? Her name is nezuko, nezuko kamado said tanjiro. Muzans eyes widened with rage at the thought of one escaping him. Tanjiro I will tell you that the Kamado family were too dangerous to let live, they had the potential to use the very first breath so I will ask you if you are sure she is a kamado or does she wear hanafuda earrings. Tanjiro thought for a moment before answering yes she does. Turning away, Muzan spoke up. I will be sending two demons to tail you and the kamado girl they are to attack the two of you. You are to kill the two of these demons to maintain your cover. Continue the mission and do not return unless you have ubayashiki's head on a platter. Yes lord muzan. Leaving the alley, Tanjiro began to walk back through the crowd. Suddenly Tanjiro's stomach began to growl. It had been almost a month since he last fed so he would need to find some way to feed. Deciding the easiest way to do this was to go and find someone close to death he walked through the streets and before long he found an old beggar. Pulling the man onto his feet, Tanjiro offered to buy him a meal. The man quickly agreed and tanjiro bought the man some grilled calamari. As the man happily ate, Tanjiro found his thoughts returning back to what muzan said. So he did kill her family. It shouldn’t make a difference but for something as trivial as a secret breathing style could muzan not be the great man tanjiro thought he was. After the man had finished his food, Tanjiro led the man back to his spot in the alley. Once the man had sat back down the tanjiro belt. Looking at the man in the eyes, Tanjiro said, i'm sorry for this. It's fine young man if you have to feed than feed. You know, said tanjiro. The old man chuckled you don't live as long as I have without learning how to recognize a demon. But the thing is you don’t want to kill me but in order to save the lives of those around us you don't have a choice. My wife and children are already dead, I've outlived my entire family so you’d be doing me a favor. Standing up once again, Tanjiro aimed his hand at the man's head. Tanjiro spoke out once more. I'm sorry for this before a bone shot out of his palm impaling the man. Bending down, Tanjiro drained the blood from the man's body and poured the lot of it down his throat. With his bloodlust satiated, Tanjiro made his way back to the park he had left nezuko. Reaching the park he was shocked to see a young man with blue hair and a woman with black hair both wearing white doctor clothes talking to nezuko. Walking back up to nezuko the woman and boy introduced themselves as tamayo and yushiro. Nezuko wasn't speaking to him but that was to be expected after the way tanjiro reacted. Leading them both through the streets they came to a wall that appeared solid but to tanjiro’s surprise yushiro and tamayo walked right through it taking tanjiro and nezuko with them. When they appeared on the other side of the wall they were shocked to see a large building that yushiro and tamayo were currently walking into. Walking in with them tanjiro and nezuko sat down in what they guessed to be the living room. Hello, said Tamayo, you're probably wondering why you're here. Rest assured I will not be harming you in any way. As for muzan kibutsuji i hate that man and want to destroy him. I live here as a doctor caring for people. Both yushiro and I survive off of the blood that has been donated by poor people thrown out tokyo. I have never taken enough to cause harm. I use that blood to help people who are injured. If their injury or sickness is fatal and unable to be cured. If they are near death I offer them the chance to become demons but only if they promise to never eat humans. However, after 400 years of research I was only able to turn yushiro into a demon. Shocke tanjiro shouted out how old are you tamayo-san. Yushiro came in and hit tanjiro on the head hard enough to leave a bruise. Yushiro said tamayo sternly if you hit either of them again i won't forgive you. Yes mam said yushiro sitting back down. Getting back to the current topic, Nezuko spoke up this time. Tell me tamayo-san is it possible to kill muzan. Yes it is possible, she said, i don’t know how but no matter what nothing is unkillable. Feeling this feeling of closure. Nezuko went back to being quiet. There is one thing that you can do to help me. Tanjiro said. I need you to kill the 12 kizuki. Suddenly a large ball crashed through the wall bouncing like mad around the room destroying everything it hit. Once the dust had settled tanjiro was already up sword drawn prepared for a fight. These must be the demons muzan sent thought tanjiro, i’ll have to kill them. Leaping over the rubble, Tanjiro came face to face with a girl holding temari balls. So you're the one lord muzan told us to kill. I will end this quickly. Throwing the balls at tanjiro tanjiro was able to slash them easily. Shortly after this nezuko came out of the rubble holding her sword out. Are you ok? Tanjiro asked, she simply nodded. Tamayo-san and yushiro-san and still under the rubble can i trust you to handle this so i can go and find them. She nodded once again. Running off tanjiro began to lift rubble off when he found them he was shocked to see yushiro desperately protecting tamayo from the rubble. A large portion of a metal beam impaling his sternum. Tanjiro desperately tried to lift the rubble off of them but wasn't strong enough. Realizing what he needed to do, Tanjiro turned to Tamayo and yushiro. Promise me he said promise me you won't tell this to anyone not even nezuko. What do you intend to do? Just promise me you won't tell anyone. We promise they said in unison. Pulling out his sword tanjiro stabbed himself in the chest before saying out loud blood breathing 15th form curse of the blood god. Tanjiro’s eyes changed to blood red with black pupils. So this brat needs my power again, said a disembodied voice coming from tanjiro. Fine then I'll give you a hand. Reaching down chisuke grabbed the rubble with one hand before tossing it up into the air freeing the two from under the rubble. Well then I'll be leaving now. Tanjiro’s eyes went back to normal as tanjiro regained control of his body. Are you ok he said seeing them free was fine they said and don't worry we won't say anything. Thankyou said tanjiro. All three of them made their way out of the crumbling house seeing that nezuko had defeated the temari demon
