Ray was escorted to the vehicle which was strictly instructed to not stop on the way. Paul was very determined to put Ray behind the bars or shall we say "Silver Raven" behind the bars. He sat beside Ray , who held her silence keeping her calm.
"You are such a good actor, even I could not see through you"
Paul commented , his voice reeking of hate. Ray decided not to respond to his comments and maintained her silence.
"Killing your own blood is a contradictory act for someone who is very close to someone. Your plan was good, yet you forgot one thing Ray,"
He leans forward, and whispers in a deep voice
"Blood is thicker than water."
There was a strong spark of rivalry among the two. Looking straight into his eyes, with no fear, Ray adds to his comment.
"You are mistaken detective" finally breaking her silence.
"I was mistaken that you actually were who I saw you as. But, this time, I will make sure that no one is mistakenly fooled by you." He aggressively stands up and was about to get off the van, when he hears a voice from behind.
"The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb. That's where you were mistaken"
Ray added as she turned her head towards him, a grin on her face appeared as if she had accepted the invite of the war.
"That is where you are mistaken" she repeats leaning back , as if she was trying to mark her empire, displaying her power.
He could not stand the challenge as the doors of the van were shut close. He had a lot to say but there was no way. So, he signals the driver to drive off to Ray's final destination.

The courtroom was overcrowded; the news of Silver Raven's reveal had already made a buzz all over the town. The room lights up with flashes of cameras as Ray enters. Everyone trying to get an exclusive first glimpse of the Silver Raven. She is blinded by sudden flashes , so she tries to cover her eyes with her hands.
"How does it feel to be used as someone's Marketing pupet?" Paul comments as he passes by her. For years now, the Silver Raven had used it's targets as advertisements, showing off it's precision and gaining popularity among the underworld. Today the same Silver Raven had become a mere advertisement for news channels to gain popularity. She was escorted to the defendant's table. The sight was very intriguing for her, the courtroom was buzzing from discussions, everyone had their own stories already cooked up. It was as if they had already placed a bet and now only the reveal was awaited.
"How can a girl kill so many people? She does not even look that strong." She heard a mutter from behind her. She turned around with a look of disappointment and an extended frown. She did not utter a word , her eyes were enough to warn them
"Want to see for yourself?"
They immediately turned silent as their eyes met hers. She smiled at her little victory. As she turned her head back, she spotted detective Paul at the plaintiff's table. Her eyes stopped there to observe him.
"I had placed a heavy bet on you. Turns out I lost the bet again" she thought to herself as her eyes met Paul's. His will to put her behind the bars was getting stronger with every second. As if it was being fuelled, by the feeling of being betrayed. Ray softly blinked and took a deep breath. It seemed like she was trying to calm Paul down. He slammed his hand on the table as he noticed her behaviour. He did not want to be fooled anymore. Ray smirked at the sight and raised her eyebrow as if she was calling him up for a challenge.
"I will make sure to destroy your everything. Here! Today!"
-"There is nothing to destroy, yet I would love to see your efforts."
The challenge had fired up between the two. The trial would be interesting to attend. Everyone rise as the Jury enters. Everyone settles and the hearing starts.

Detective Paul makes the opening statement by proclaiming that Miss Ray Nicholas sitting here is the infamous assassin named Silver Raven, who has taken endless lives. The trial was started of with immense heat. Heat capable of consuming anyone, but Ray was standing in the middle of his wave, challenging him openly. The defence lawyer interrupts him and demands for valid evidence to support his accusations on Ray. Paul starts to present the evidences "Actually I have 5 evidences to prove my accusation." Paul proceeds to present the evidences.
