AUTHOR'S POV
AT NIGHT
At night, Vishakha stood alone on the balcony of her grand mansion, the moon casting an ethereal glow upon her silhouette. Memories of the incident that occurred a year ago haunted her, casting a shadow over her thoughts.
She glanced back into the opulent interior of her home, feeling the weight of her solitude. The distance she had created between herself and Rehan seemed insurmountable, a chasm widening with each passing day. Yet, she couldn't bring herself to burden her brother with her troubles, knowing he had his own responsibilities to bear.
With a sad chuckle, she turned away, retreating into the comfort of her spacious bedroom. Clutching a photo frame close to her heart, she traced the contours of her father's face, the one person she loved above all else. But even he seemed distant, lost in the whirlwind of his business ventures.
Tears welled in her eyes as she thought of her father's absence, his absence a constant ache in her heart. Despite her outward facade of indifference, she longed for his presence, yearned for his love and approval.
With a heavy sigh, Vishakha lay down on her bed, the weight of her loneliness pressing down upon her. Sleep eluded her, her mind plagued by thoughts of what could have been, of the family she longed for but could never seem to attain.
Morning dawned with the gentle caress of sunlight upon her face, rousing Vishakha from her fitful slumber. She rose with a sense of determination, making her bed with meticulous care before heading to the gym to clear her mind.
A cold shower washed away the remnants of her restless night, the icy water a balm to her weary soul. As she sat down to breakfast, her thoughts were interrupted by the cheerful voice of her personal assistant, Ms. Niti.
"Good morning, ma'am," Niti exclaimed, her voice filled with enthusiasm. "You have four meetings scheduled today, and we have a dinner with our clients tonight."
Vishakha nodded in acknowledgment, her mind already racing ahead to the day's tasks. With a sense of purpose, she set about preparing for her day, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with unwavering resolve.
At her company
As Vishakha stepped into the bustling atmosphere of her company, the air crackled with the energy of anticipation and productivity. However, amidst the flurry of activity, there lingered an undercurrent of gossip and chatter, like a discordant melody disrupting the harmony of the workplace.
Voices reverberated off the walls, mingling with the hum of computers and the clatter of keyboards, creating a cacophony that seemed to drown out all semblance of order and discipline.
But amidst the chaos, a sudden hush fell over the crowd as a sleek black Mercedes pulled up to the entrance. Vishakha emerged from the car, her presence commanding attention as her bodyguards ushered her towards the company's entrance.
