Even though I didn't trip on Ray last night did not mean I was over the whole situation shit draining and I'm pregnant I'm not trying to lose my daughter over her bullshit. I grabbed my phone to text my bestfriend

Me: Des?

Des💘: Yess?

Me: Can I stay with you for awhile? Until I get my own place ? 👀

Des💘: Girllll, you don't got to ask come on. We can talk about what's going on when you get here.

Me: Thanks. I'm gone talk to Ray first and pack and I'll head that way.

I clicked my phone off and got up I heard Ray and King downstairs. I'm glad she spending some time with him cause he always asking where she at. I'm praying she don't let this life she live get in the way of her kids. I walked downstairs "Look who up early" Ray smiled "Early bird get the worm which is why we already ate and your food in the microwave" I rubbed my stomach "good we hungry, Ray I need to talk to you now." I walked in the kitchen and grabbed my food and heated it up and sat down. Ray walked in " Wassup baby" I started eating " I'm going to stay with Des until I find my own place" She looked confused "Tf? Celeste wtf are you talking about right now?"
"Ray I'm not trynna be stressed out no more. Wondering if you dead, in jail, coming home? That shit draining and I warned you so I don't know why you got this stupid look on your face."
"Celeste I get what you saying but you knew what it was before we got deep! You know I don't want my child raised by a broken family! Im building us a house and all wtf im pose to do with that shit Celeste ?!" I didn't know she was doing that it must was gone be a surprise but that does not change my mind I have to stand on this for the sake of my baby. "Lower your voice cause King in the other room. Im done Ray with all this we can figure co- parenting out when the baby get here but im done." I threw my trash away and walked upstairs and started packing.
Ray Pov
Ain no fucking way she acting like this right now. I can't lose my family man I keep explaining to her this shit is beyond the streets but it's obvious she never will get it. All I can do is better myself and life for King and my daughter. I went in the living room "come on man man put your shoes on we bout to go." Since Celeste was leaving I had hell of business to handle. Like getting King enrolled in school, down sizing my place, and putting the house I was building on the market. I called my realtor while waiting on King to get his shoes.

*Phone call*
Unknown: Johnson's Real Estate Office this is Sara speaking.
Me: Yes, can I talk to Alissa please.
Sara: Let me check to see if she in her office and I'll transfer you over.
Me: Thanks
I waited while I helped King in his car seat and cranked up the car.

*Phone Call*
Alissa: Hey, how you doing Mrs. Lewis? I was supposed to reach out to you about your property.

Me: Yes, that won't be necessary I want you to list it for sale and the property I stay in now.

Alissa: Uh... Okay. You sure about this?

Me: Yea, I'm sure. I need you to find me a three bedroom house with a large yard and a garage.

Alissa: Okay, are you looking to buy or rent? And when do you want to move in by?

Me: I want to buy it. Cash. The faster the better. And instead of selling the house I'm in now I rather rent it out.

Alissa: Whew. Okay Mrs. Lewis. I'll have to come by the house for an inspection and to take pictures so I can put it up on our website.

Me: That's fine. When are you available?

Alissa: I can come today around 4pm or tomorrow morning at 10. Which one works better for you?

Me: Today is fine

Alissa: Okay I'll see you then.

I hung up the phone and looked in the backseat "Igh man we gone have some fun today you ready?" He smiled big "oh yeahhhh!" I drove to the school to enroll King. This gone be a long journey trying to do all this without Celeste but all I want for her is to be happy.
*Later on in the day*
I drove into the garage after I enrolled King in school I took him to the trampoline park and other things. I had fun with my little man. Now he was in the backseat sleep. I got him out the car and put him in the bed. I went to my bedroom and seen Celeste shit was gone... she didn't even say bye. I sat on the bed and went deep into my thoughts until the doorbell went off. I walked downstairs and opened the door to Alissa. She was fine as hell nice darkskin with a tight fitted dress and heels. "Come on in" She smiled "This wont take long so I can get out your hair." I smiled "Nah you good stay as long as you need." I went in the living room and got on my laptop to enroll back in law school."
*40 minutes later*
I pulled out my phone and texted Deja

Me: I applied😋

I heard heels clanking the floor "Okay Mrs. Lewis I'm all finished"
I stood up "Okay let me walk you out then"
She smiled "I did not know you had a son" I laughed "yea I do and a daughter on the way"  We got to her car "Lucky woman and kids." I smiled slightly "no woman just my kids" She got in the car "I'm sorry I should not have assumed. I sent you some houses to your email have a nice day." Shit I was single now I couldn't just let her leave without trying to get her number. I pulled my phone out "Wait, you mind if I get your personal number? Maybe we can go out sometimes outside of business." She grabbed my phone and put her number in "text me anytime" I sent her a quick text and went back in the house. I needed to find a babysitter asap because I got business to handle and can't do nothing with King with me. I texted Tadoe
