1. He Is The Love Of My Life

It was raining heavily with thunder
and lightning.
The sky was covered with black clouds and here she was standing near her window.

Mahi's Pov:

Usually girls love when it rains but I hate it, I thought.
Water droplets are falling from the railing of my window, I forwarded my hand and let those droplets fall
on my hand.

After some minutes my
palm becomes wet.
I pull my hand back, just then my sight fall on my engagement ring.
Well, yes I'm engaged with the love of my life "My Amaan"
We are going to get married in few months.
It's a love marriage, first my parents were against it as they think Amaan's family is not that good, they do
not match our standard and discipline and they still think that
he's not serious about his life.
Somewhere I also knew that it's true, he is not serious about his life.

But what I can do.... We don't have any control on our heart when it's about "love"
Mohabbat soch kar nahi hoti, mohabbat to bas ho jaati hai.

(Love doesn't happen by thinking, love just happens)

I smiled a little just with the thought
of him.
You can say I love him insanely. I fell in love first, he realised his feelings later.
We delayed our marriage because I wanted to complete my
studies first. I and Amaan were classmates but he left his studies in the mid. He was a back bencher
and I was a front bencher.
(As people say opposite attracts, hehe)

But now as I already completed my graduation last month our family decides to let us get
married next month.
I can't explain how much happy I am.

I'm in love with him since we were in school. After 5 years of one sided love one day....

Flashback....

I was sitting on my hostel room's bed. My phone screen light up with a notification.
It was a message from Amaan.

(Inbox)

Amaan: Hey! Are you there?

Mahi: Yeah, what's it?

Amaan: I want to meet you.

Mahi: Wait, what? You
want to meet me!?

Amaan: Yeah, let's meet today at 7 in Paradise Club.

Mahi: Okay, but can't we
we meet somewhere
else? That place is not
my type, yk club and all...

Amaan: Ugh! You want to come or not?

Mahi: Ok then, I'll be
there. Be on time please.

Amaan: No need to worry baby, I'll be there on time, See yaa ;)

Omg!! Baby!!?! Did he call me baby. Am I dreaming!?

Time skip
6:55 PM, At Paradise Club.

I got ready and went there. He was standing outside the club
waiting for me.
And damn he is wearing all black.
Oh my gosh! I can't explain
how dashing he is looking right now.
He saw me coming towards him.
He waved looking at me I waved back.

As I'm reaching closer to him my heart is beating wildly.
Calm down, or else he'll hear you, I said internally.
"Hellllo! Looking gorgeous" he said.
"Thank you" I replied while blushing.
"Believe me you look
more beautiful when you blush like this" he said.
"Are we going to keep standing
here" I said to change the topic.
"No no let's go inside. I know you are curious why I asked for
a meet up" he said.

We head inside.
It's a very expensivs club.
Amaan took me towards VIP section. But why no one is here, I
wonder while looking here and there.
"Because I booked this whole VIP section, so that we can talk
freely, I know you
are a shy baby" Amaan said.
I looked at him surprisingly.
I mean how come he know what I am thinking.
"Hehe, I know what you were thinking baby" he said
Now that's it my heart beats are running a marathon

We sit on a table. Now my curiosity is on it's peak.
I want to know why he's behaving
like this....
Like, all of a sudden he asked for a meet up and then he's flirting like this.
Ugh! And my heart, please calm down.

"So, how are you doing lately all good!?" He asked.
"Yy...yeaah, all good" I replied while sluttering.
Why the hell am I sluttering!
"Hmm, you seems nervous. Calm
down I'm not planning to eat
you" he laughed.
"No, actually it's not like that. I just... I mean I'm curious why so sudden you asked me to meet you" I finally asked.

"Ok then let's get to the point. I want to ask you something
answer me honestly" he said.
I hummed in response.
"All college knows about it even I know it too but I want to hear it from you. Do you really love me?" He said.

Now my heart becomes stiff, literally sitting face to face with your
crush and he is asking do you love him or not is a death for me.
All this things are new to me
because I never get struck in a situation like this nor I ever dated anybody
till now.
It's just a secret admiration I had for Amaan.
One sided love.

But it's the time. I have to tell him.
"Yeah, I do" I said slowly after a short pause.
He keeps looking at me or you can say staring me.
"B...but wh..yy ar...are you ask..asking suud...suddenly?" I asked
"I love you too Mahi" he said not moving his eyes from me.

Wait, whattttttt!!!

"Let's date, be my girlfriend Mahi. I know I confessed it late but
now I want to be honest with myself. I don't want to run from the
feelings I have for you in my heart. Let's be together" he said while holding
my hand.

Flashback Ends...

That is when he confessed and we get into a relationship.
I was the most happiest person on earth that night.
I still remember how happy I was that I didn't even be able sleep that night due to happiness and excitement.
I was going crazy.

My heartbeats still increase when I recall that moment.
