Otome Meitzen was the second Family Head of the Meitzen Family. Otome was a prestigious member od the Gozen Clan, a lesser Noble Clan, and married into Meitzen Family. She become family head after the death of her husband Rihan Meitzen from assassination by a rival family. With Rihan as her spouse, she gave birth to three sons-- Mamiru Meitzen, Roxis Meitzen, and Rozeluxe Meitzen. After her husband's death, she developed the formal art of passing down the skills needed to tame demons and later commited suicide by hanging after leaving a will statung that her soul be sealed into Sozoku.

Kitsune (キツネ, Fox): ia the name of Otome's Zanpakuto. In its sealed state, it takes the form of a long nodachi with a black sheathe and golden kanji written along its length that spells out her name of her Zanpakuto spirit.

Otome's Shikai Form
Shikai: Relealed with the command "Speout", Otome's nodachi shatters into a glass like dust before reforming on her lower body in the form of nine fox tails much like that if her Zanpakuto spirit.
Shikai Special Ability: Each of these tail function as its iwb pocket dimension. Inside od each of these, Otome is able to store several pieces of weaponry that she can use to catch the opponent off guard. She can also simply use these tails to capture and impale the foe as each tail bears enough strength to complete rip apart a large building on it own.
