In which Michael becomes involved in an affair with a taken woman and lets his growing feelings for her cloud his judgement.
Synopsis Michael is recording for his anticipated solo album, Off The Wall, when he begins a romance with Violet, the beautiful receptionist for the studio he's working in. He falls deeply in love with her, but there's one big issue: she's already in a relationship, meaning their affair must remain a secret. This greatly frustrates Michael, who is ready to publicly proclaim Violet as his woman.
Tired of waiting in the sidelines while Violet struggles to end her rocky relationship, Michael decides to take matters into his own hands. Will his actions lead him into finally being with the woman he loves? Or, will he be left with nothing but empty promises and a broken heart?

A/N: Hey y'all! I'm bringing this story back because I honestly feel like I didn't give it a fair enough chance to develop. I finally figured out the direction I want this to go in, and I'm excited for y'all to read! This is gonna be a shorter story, no more than ten chapters.
I also want to add that this story is not only based on the song, but also the one shot I wrote for the song on my Off The Wall: Short Stories book. This is pretty much an improved and expanded version of that, with some changes, and obviously, more details.
