"Get up right now." Ordered Sergeant Caricias, his voice resonating with authority.

After countless failed attempts to complete the treacherous obstacle course, I found myself sprawled upon the damp, mire-laden earth, my chest heaving with exhaustion. Fatigue had overtaken me, rendering me utterly drained, both physically and mentally.

"I can't -..."

"You will." The Sergeant cut me off.

The rest of the crew observed attentively. I was the only one who hadn't finished the obstacle course. They exchanged glances and mumbled things to one another.

"Stop wasting time and get up!" Azulin yelled, clearly agitated by my defeated state. His patience had already worn thin.

Using my elbows, I sat myself up. The soles of my feet ached. My arms and legs felt weary and much too sore to continue.

"Fine. You will stay out here until you finish." A menacing growl rumbled from the Sergeant, "Even if it takes all night."

With that, Caricias turned away and walked in the opposite direction.

The rest of the crew followed.

"It's so easy! I can't believe that she couldn't complete it." Panda and Sonrisas exchanged mischievous glances, their lips twitching with suppressed laughter.

A cigarette lay between Coco's lips, not seeming to care about the situation.

Azulin couldn't help but wear a sly smirk. He taunted Y/n, "Try not to stay out all night. Or do. I could care less."

"Brother!" Gordi's eyebrows furrowed as he shook his head, "We should help her."

"No." Azulin's hand shot out and firmly grasped Gordi's arm. Without a moment's hesitation, he yanked him forward to join the rest of the crew.

With a weary sigh, I took in the daunting sight of the obstacle course that lay before me. Fatigue coursed through my weary limbs, threatening to sap the last remnants of my strength. Yet, despite the exhaustion that weighed heavily upon me, I knew that I had to complete it.

[Some Hours Later]

Corporal Pompon found himself immersed in the routine of his afternoon rounds.

The sun hung lazily in the sky, casting a hot golden glow over the military base. With each step he took, his polished boots clicked against the ground.

The air was filled with a symphony of laughter, chatter, and the occasional clinking of metal.

However, a distant growling sound reached his ears, causing them to instantly perk up.

His lilac eyes caught sight of a recruit who was in the training grounds. The only one at that.

The Corporal's heart skipped a beat once he caught sight of her.
