(Liv pov)
I wish I'd never talked to Chris Sturniolo. I wish I hadn't flirted with him at that party two weeks ago, I wish I hadn't let him get my number. Because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have ruined his relationship with his brother.
I dutch braided my red hair, put on a grey brandy tank, green jean shorts, and my silver star converse. As I applied brown mascara, I heard a honk that almost ruined her makeup. I grabbed her phone and her wallet and left her house, anxious to see the boy that awaited her. I could see him from her porch, tapping the steering wheel of the minivan.

Liv closed the passenger seat door and stared deeply into his eyes. Deep blue, smiling right at her. "So, what are we doing?" she questioned him.
After giving him her number, Chris had practically begged Liv to hang out, they didn't even have to be on a date, but Liv was aware of his intentions. she had hung out with him about four times since they met, and he still hadn't made a move. Liv was confused by this, because she had seldom struggled to stop hanging out with a guy that took too long. But she had give him the benefit of the doubt, and to tell the truth, he really was a sweet guy. Hot too.
"I thought we could grab some food, and if you want, today my brother Matt is coming home, so Nic and I are throwing a party at out house," He told me, pulling out of her driveway. "We've been on the opposite sides of the country for a month, seperated by work. And I've been so busy, I've barely called. So we wanted to surprise him. It's going to be really lit."
"Sure, that sounds great. So, what is Matt like? Do you guys fight as often as I've seen you and Nic fight?" she said with a giggle.
"Nah, hes more chill, not like crazy Nic. I'm not sure you two would get along though. You're like, polar." she shrugged her shoulders as Chris turned up the radio. They got panera, and afterwards Chris invited her to come over early and help him, Nic, and Nathan set up. She agreed, but wanted to go home first to shower and change.

"So, what should I wear?" I asked Chris as we pulled up to my house, about an hour after we had left. "Anything." I rolled my eyes and slammed the door.
Post-shower, I put on a cute pink tank top, black frayed shorts, and put my hair up, showing my abundant jewelry residing on my head and neck. I got in my car, and blasted Sunburn by Dominic Fike the whole way there.
"I'm here," I texted my Chris
Seconds later the door open. Chris's hair was wet and he was wearing black shorts and a black tank top, and a silver chain. "Hey Liv," I heard Nic say from the other room. Nic was always so nice since I'd started talking to Chris, and it was nice to have a friend to break the awkwardness I felt on occasion when I was with Chris. I hoped Matt would be the same. As we set up, I couldn't help myself from smiling as Chris and I's fingers would brush against one another. I knew he could feel the vibe too. More and more of the triplets friends arrived at their house but it stayed pretty quiet as no one wanted to ruin the surprise.
"Guys, Madi just texted me, " Nic said. "She's almost back from picking Matt up at the airport." On cue, Chris shut off the lights and squat down behind the table, next to me. We were dangerously close. I looked down at his lips as he leaned in to kiss me.
But, right before our lips touched, the front door opened. A shadowy figure walked in, followed by Madi, filming on her camera of her phone. "SURPRISE!!" everyone cheered as the lights turned on, illuminating the "Welcome back Matty" sign Chris had put up. As the party went on, everyone exchanged greetings with the boy, but I fund myself ore occupied by Chris, who would drag me off to talk about something or with someone whenever I walked over to talk to Matt. But, while Chris was off getting a soda, I noticed what I could only assume was Matt, sitting on a couch by himself.
I walked over and sat down next to him "Hi, you're Matt, right! Chris was telling me about you!" I said, fiddling with my phone case.
"Who the fuck are you?" He said in a confused tone, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh, I'm Liv, I've been talking to Chris for a while." Did she really not mean enough to Chris to be mentioned to his triplet brother? Matt nodded.
They sat in awkward silence for a good ten seconds before he put his hand on her knee. "Hey, sorry if i came off as rude. I'm just not in the best mood right now. Nic and Chris have been busy trying to keep the party fun all night, and without them I'm not the biggest party animal."
Liv could relate. Her friends had to practically drag her to the party where she met Chris. She gave him a soft smile. Maybe she should get back to Chris. But, on the other hand, she could see him talking to multiple girls in the corner of the room, so maybe it wasn't worth it. And anyways, this guy was kind. She turned to him, his icy blue eyes piercing. Just as she was about to say something, Nic spoke.
"Yo, we're playing spin the bottle in the living room, come play," Nic siad. Pulling the boy off the couch. He smiled. Wow he was gorg.
"This is so stupid and middle school," Matt whispered in my ear as we sat down in a circle. I saw Chris and gave him a smile, pretty boy. "I know right," I said to Matt, both of us looking at one another rather than the people making out all around us. "Hey do you want to-" Matt got cut off by Nic next to me, shaking me and screaming in my ear. "LOOK!" I looked around to see the bottle was pointing straight at me. Oh.
"Ok, who am I kissing?" I secretly hoped the bottle would land on Chris, I felt we had some unfinished buisness to attend to.
My manifestation must have worked, because seconds later Chris was walking over to me. We made out, and we both smiled at one another as we pulled apart. My hand snuck around his waist. God, maybe I did like him. But, in the corner of my eye, I felt another set of eyes glaring at me. By the time I got back to where I was sitting, Matt was gone.
