"Hey, Nerd!" Was all I heard before I got slammed into a wall. I looked up. Jean again. Why can't he leave me alone for once? I guess I should be grateful it's him. And not Bertholdt. "New glasses today, shorty?" He laughed.
"W-well yes s-since y-you broke the l-last pair..." I said, terrified.
"How about I break these ones too, Arlert?" He spoke with a smirk

"P-please don't... they're expensive a-and I don't h-have enough for a n-new pair..."
"That's too bad isn't it?" He took my glasses and threw them, then raised his fist to punch me and I shut my eyes tightly waiting for the impact of his fist on my face. But... I didn't feel anything. I felt the hand that was pushing me on the wall get pulled off. I slowly opened my eyes. I saw a short blonde girl grabbing his collar and threatening him.
"I'm giving you 3 seconds to leave him alone and get your stupid self away before I hurt you." She whisper-yelled. She then let go of his shirt collar. He looked absolutely terrified.
"F-fine. Weirdo."he straitened his collar and walked away.
The blonde girl looked at me. I couldn't tell who it was without my glasses but she seemed familiar.
"Are you alright Armin?" She asked while putting my glasses on my face. Oh my god it's Annie.
"I-I'm fine. T-thank you f-for getting him away!" I said while blushing. I've had a crush on her since middle school. I've obviously never said anything about it to her. She's the schools most popular bad girl. I'm the schools most hated nerd. Low on the social pyramid. She's way outta my league. Plus we a have a small friendship and I don't want to mess that up.
"It's no problem ,Arlert. But you can't just let them make fun of you like that. If Eren, Mikasa or I'm not around you need to defend yourself." She said while crossing her arms.
"U-uh o-okay... I'll t-try my best. I-I'm gonna go to the library now t-then head back to the dorms. I-I'll see you later." I said while speed-walking away.
"See you at the dorms Arlert." She said as I entered the library doors.
I studied for a few hours then walked back to the dorms and walked up to the top floor to the hangout room to get some tea before I went to me and Eren's room. And I might stop by Annie's room to talk to her for a bit. If Hitch isn't there that is. No. That's stupid I don't even know what I would talk to her about.
I got my tea and headed back to my room. I opened the door and Eren and Mikasa were making out. Ew. As soon as I saw this I turned around and closed my door. I'm not dealing with that right now. I went back to the big room and turned on the tv since no one was in there. I turned on this show I really like called Attack on Titan. It's kinda weird cause they all have the same names as us but I didn't really care. It was a good show. I decided I'd rewatch the episodes about the female titan. She's my favorite titan. And you know who her titan shifter is? Annie Leonheart. The character named Annie and the one named Armin have crushes on each other. A little weird that I, Armin Arlert, have a crush on a girl with the same name.
I was watching the show for about 30 minutes when I heard someone walk in. I turned to see who it was, and I saw Annie holding her guitar case.
"Oh hey, Arlert." She slightly waved and sat down at the other couch.
"Hi, Annie." I turned my attention back to the tv.
I heard her whisper "He's watching Attack on Titan? I didn't know he liked this show too."
