The next day back at the dorms, Armin's POV:
We walked into the big room and everyone was there.
Eren saw us, "Armin what happened that made you leave like that? And can I have my car keys back?"
I tossed him his keys.
"I figured out who killed Marco."
Mikasa looked a bit shocked. "Who was it?"
"Bertholdt."
Hitch and Marlow both gasped. "WHAT!" They both said in unison.
Annie stepped in. "He beat the absolute crap out of him. It was so awesome to see. A bit scary to see someone as sweet as him so angry but it was still really cool." She smiled and grabbed my hand.
Mikasa and Eren looked happy but also surprised. "He beat someone up? Our sweet baby Armin Arlert?" Eren asked.
"That's amazing Armin!" Mikasa said.
"Hehe I'm gonna go get some sleep you guys." I said.
Two months later walking through the school halls, Armin's POV:
I was walking down the hallway with Annie on the way to the doors to walk home. She had a lollipop and we were talking about our next date. She went silent for a second.
"Annie? You okay?" She shook her head yes and gave me a small smile. I kissed her forehead.
"Stop reminding me I'm single you idiots." Jean chuckled a bit. He's been getting better since Marco's death. He talks about him without crying and is even able to make some light jokes about it.
Me and Annie walked through the door and started walking down the sidewalk. When all of a sudden Annie says,"Hey Armin?"
I turned to look at her. "Hm?"
She took her hand and opened my mouth, put the lollipop in my mouth. She then grabbed my hand and kept walking. I blushed a bit. I really love her. I put my arm around her.
"ARMEEEEEEEEEN!ANNIEEEEEEEEE!" Reiner yelled.
We turned around. "Oh hey Reiner." I said.
"Hey tall idiot." Annie said.
"You guys guess what?"
"Hm?" I asked.
"Idk if I'm high rn or not but like I saw someone who looked exactly like Marco."
"Huh? Where?" I said looking around.
"I can show you the direction he went in if you want."
"Please do that."
Reiner started jogging in a direction and told us where to go the rest of the way. Me and Annie started running where he told us. I turned the corner and...
Marco was standing there with an eyepatch and a few face scars.
"MARCO?!"
He looked at me. "Armin. Hey. Where's my boyfriend?"
"H-h-he's at the dorms. H-how are y-you-?"
"Alive? I dunno I woke up in a hospital bed with some scars and one of my eyes gone."
"The d-d-doctors told me you w-were dead!"
"They lied. I was just knocked out for a while. Some sort of thing that like stops my pulse for a bit."
"JEANS GONNA WANT TO SEE YOU!!"
"Yeah I just asked where he was stupid. Show me to him."
