Chapter 1 : 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓

The weather was chilly and cold.
Taehyung was sitting cross legged under his favorite tree, surrounded by hundreds of leaves and branches.

A small patch of grass lay just above him where he'd recently fallen asleep. He was happy.

The birds up in the dark sky , the squirrels were playing with each other,and some the butterflies flittered around him.

It wasn't exactly ideal or peaceful cuz after all he was alone in a jungle and it dark night , but at least he didn't feel claustrophobic like he sometimes did when he had to stay indoors for long periods of time.

As he listened to the soft rustling and chirping, Taeyung felt relaxed and drowsy.

His eyes grew heavy, and his body began to slide down against the bark.

It was almost like falling asleep inside a leaf pile...except without the crushing exhaustion.

Before he could fully pass out, however, Taehyung caught a movement from the corner of his eye.

When he looked towards the source, there was nothing there.

He was alone, so whatever it was must have gone away. That made sense. He must not want anyone to find him because he knew he was safe here

...right?

Taehyung's eyelids slowly slid shut as he relaxed.

Just before he fell into an unconscious state, Taehyung heard a loud noise behind him.

He jumped up immediately, and thought it was a deadly animal at the woods . after all he was at a jungle .

He was ready to defend himself. However, when he turned around, he saw only empty space behind him.

It seemed that whoever it was that had made such a large sound just disappeared into thin air.

Taehyung blinked a couple times and shook his head in confusion.

Maybe he'd imagined it all...or maybe he got scared or maybe he really was hallucinating. Either way, Taehyung decided to let it go for now. After all, he was still safe here, cuz he comes here every night , right?

Right....!

So why should he think about getting lost again? Taehyung smiled and resumed his position on the ground again.

It was okay.

Nothing could get to him here anyway. He was just safe. No one would hurt him here. Right. Everything was just fine. He thoughts and drifted back to sleep ..

Everything was going right except that this was the exact place that Jungkook found

Taehyung......

If Jungkook hadn't happened upon Taehyung, he could never have met his angelic face.

*Few hours ago*

junkook pov :

I was bledding and running through the woods when I tripped over a tree root.

My knees slammed against something hard and I fell down hard, landing flat on my back. The impact caused me to lose my balance for the briefest of moments.

I got up immediately though.

I could hardly afford to lie here, so I pushed myself off of the ground, grabbed onto the edge of my hoodie pocket, and pulled myself to my feet again.

When I reached the trunk of a small oak tree,

I looked around with my phone torch and saw a boy ,

a very beautiful boy ...

I was amazed by his beauty. His pale skin, so flawless, it was like someone took a picture and drew it on him. Almost perfect..

His hair was the colour of honey, and the light reflected off of it beautifully.

The most stunning part was the way his bright red lips curved upward slightly I bet he was having a good dream.

It was absolutely breathtaking. His smile.

I never seen someone dreaming so  peacefully.

but wait WHAT THE HELL he's doing here at the middle of the forest? A literal JUNGLE?? To say the least

Then a realization came crashing in. There's no way he could be alive, right?

Haha

cuz this time alone in the woods would surely be dangerous . So then how could he be here? I'm guessing he's dead. I mean it's the only explanation.

as I came near him, I held my breath hoping he wouldn't wake up if he wasn't dead.

but instead he was still sleeping soundly.
