Stellar POV

For years Ive been living in this house, shifting and going on runs, just enjoying my life. I always assumed I would have to leave once my neighbor saw me shift.

Yeah, but he's never seen me shift. Also I haven't exactly ever conversed with him. Ever. But I'm pretty sure he's mute anyways. I don't think he's evet talked to anybody. Weirdo.

Im starting to think he's crazy. How can people live without speaking?

Deaf people, mute people, mimes. Stellar, just because you don't know how to shut up doesn't mean everybody is like that.

My wolf is so... sweet.

Aww, thank you. Don't expect me to compliment you back though.

I'd never dream of it.

good. ooooh, go outside. Now.

I raised a mental eyebrow(I would probably look constipated if I tried actually doing that). Why, my dear wolf.

Just do it, Stellar my wolf snarled from inside me.

I sighed and trudged to the door and opened it, the cold handle moving easily under my hand.

I stepped outside and inhaled. It smelled like smoke and honey. I knew who that scent belonged to.

Sure enough, there was my neighbor. He was burning something. Wait, but where was the fireplace?

And why did it look like...

Holy pineapples on pizza is he breathing fire?

His head turned to me and he just stared at me while i stared back, dumbfounded.

We weren't looking at each other's eyes. That would be creepy. We were sort of just inspecting each other. I now realize that is also a bit cteepy.

Was I so idiotic I couldn't even smell a fellow supernatural? Yeah, he was a supernatural.

Exactly, Stellar. You're so fucked up that you couldn't even tell this tall glass of water-

Excuse me? I interupted my wolf's train of thought.

First off, we're the same so if I'm idiotic so are you.

Technically we only share the same bodies.

Second off, did you just call him a 'tall glass of water'.

Yes, but he is. We should look into his eyes. Maybe he's ours.

Um, ew. You are so fucked up. Also, out of all the things you could've called him you chose tall glass of water? Not handsome, or cute, or anything else?

No. Now look into his eyes. If  you won't do it. I will. There's a chance he's ours because for some god forsaken reason wr haven't looked into his eyes. My wolf whined

I'm not whining

Mhm. I feel like my whole life is just an internal conflict between me and my wolf. She's like my best friend.

Tranation: I'm your only friend.

Corection, she's like my only friend.

Damn right, Stellar.

I just watched him a bit longer before walking back in nonchalantly.

Stellar, dear?  My wolf started. Yeah this was going to be loud.

WHY THE FLYING FUCK WOULD YOU LEAVE HIM?!?

You're an obsessive psycho.

My wolf didn't respond and I shook my head and sat on the couch.

I've decided to ignore the fact that my neighbor is actually a supernatural and I'm such a dumbass I couldn't even tell that.

You really are

I ignored my wolf and turned on the TV. I had to get skme groceries, but that could wait until after spongebob.

STELLAR PLEASE STOP! Why the fuck are you watching that show again.

Its obviously the best show ever.

Your incompetence is equal to the yellow rectangle.

So I'm a genius? Also he's a square.

He looks like a rectangle
Now why are you watching this stupid shit when you could be rubning or hunting or-

eating

No. Or staring into his eyes.

I've come tk the conclusikn my wolf eants to be a stalker. Okay, I should probably get those groceries now. But that would involve moving.... In a few minutes.

Three hours later(better be imagining this like how they say it from spongebob)

I feel like you enjoy torturing me with this shit. We could be watching him. My wolf complained.

Oh, I 100% am enjoying your suffering to the greatest show ever.

I stood up and stretched. I needed to go gdt those groceries, no matter how unappealing it sounded. Ugh. Save me now.
