~Second day~

We woke up to the phone ringing.
What the fuck?

A quick glance at my phone showed that it was 7:40am, jesus fuck.
I saw that Marlene was not bothered by the high pitched rings so I got up and answered it.

„HELLO!" Goddness gracious.
„Hello?"
„Hi we wanted to aks you if you want a room upgrade." The woman said excitedly.
Room upgrade? I quickly looked at Marlene, still sound asleep.
„Uhm. I will have to talk to my friend about this. Can I call later back?" I asked, not sure what todo.
They wanted to give us a room upgrade when we came in. With privat pool, which don't get me wrong. Is really cool and all, but we booked ocean view. AND I WILL NOT GIVE THAT AWAY!!!

I didn't bother waking her up so I went to the bathroom, while sitting there I contemplated life again. The events of yesterday evening came back.
I rubbed my Tempels, god will we see him today again?

I got up washed my hands and face and brushed my teeth. After I felt a bit more alive then earlier I got my phone and airpods and sat outside.
The sun was already up but the sky was still tainted in a shade of pink.
I took a deep breath in and put my earphones in.

I watched the birds fly over the ocean, the waves crashing against the stones next to the beach. I saw couples taking a walk, kids splashing and playing the water.

„God I'm fucking tired" I heard Marlene grumpily say behind me. I laughed at her messy hair and very tired face. She just flipped me off and went back inside to get ready.

I put on some comfy clothes and with that we made our way to breakfast. Which was great.
Only problem.

All The servers were all smiling at Marlene.
They knew.
There was another server, who I found kinda hot.
He looked like zayne.
Split dyed hair with J K on each side at the back.
I found that fucking hilarious!
He was laughing when he saw marlene blushing like crazy.
It was honestly such a blast.
For the entirety of the breakfast we just stared back at servers that stared at us.

We then went to the beach to get some tan, Marlene and I were both as pale as a ghost. Not shitting you it was awful.

Not even twenty minutes into the tanning session I got bored.

„Let's go swimming."
„No."
„Pleaseee I'm so bored. Just a couple minutes"
„I wanna tan"
„Fuck you."

My whining got on marlenes nerves rather quick and we bot walked towards the water.
That was when I realized.
The waves were gigantic.
Like huge.
I looked at my friend, but she didn't seem to know how strong they actually were.
I smirked.

„Do you wanna get your hair wet?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
„Nope" She said popping the P.
I can understand why she doesn't want to get them wet. She had curly hair like crazy curly.
One drop of water and she was done for.

I nodded and with that we went into the water.
It was rather cold but that's just perfect. We instantly felt a wave clash into our bodys.
I looked at marlene and saw her hair wet,
I bursted into laughter, mine stayed stray, for about twenty seconds when another wave crashed into us and knocked me off my feet.
Now it was marlenes turn to laugh at me.

We went further into the ocean with each step our hair got more soaked.
At this point there was noway of saving them so I just let them flow in the water.

„MARA LOOK OUT!"
marlene screamed, I didn't realize what she went until I looked back.

Oh fuck me.

„HAHAHHAHAHA" marlene erupted into laughter.
I spit out the salty water that flooded my mouth.
„Oh fuck me dude." I said while trying to keep my eyes shut.
A wave hit me right in the fucking face.
Like perfectly angeld.

Jesus christ.

We spent some more time jumped into waves and trying techniques to not get washed away.
Spoiler, nothing worked. And we just got thrown around in the water like leafes.

„I'm going to draw and listen to music" marlene said as we got comfortable on our sunbeds.
I just nodded and did the same.
I put in my earbuds and got my study stuff out.
Gotta get smart.
After working for a bit, I have gotten too tired to even keep my eyes open.
I looked at marlene once again and she was just in her own world.
After taking a couple candid pics for her, I put my phone away and layed my head onto the bed.
God I was tired.

„You doin fancy makeup or nah?"
„Yuh"
„How much?"
„Like fullface or sum"
„What colors?"
„Brown"
„Ok"
„Ok"

marlene and I got ready for an eventful night.

I did my makeup with music blasting into my ears. Marlene was at the makeup table I was in the bathroom. After ten minutes I was done and she had just started with her base. Her makeup routine was ginormous. Or more her skincare, her skin was glowing so it was deffo worth it.

After struggling with my dress for easily five minutes, I was finally able to put it on.
It was a white dress with puffy arms and an open back with white laces.
It was honestly so gorgeous. I grabbed my small light pink guess bag and put our room card, my id and credit card inside of it.
And that's everything that fit there.
Tiny ass bag, but it's cute.

Marlene wore a long tight black dress which was so fucking pretty, like drop dead gorgeous.
Her hair was wavey and was just glowing. Her light blue eyes sparkled as she showed me her completed fit.

„Looking good." I said and gave a her a big grin.
„You too." She said while smiling.
With that we stepped out and made our way downstairs.

„I found your pookie." I told marlene as we got seated, without a second thought she whipped her head around and stared at him.
„Bro, why are making it so obvious that you fancy him?" I asked, barely holding in my laughter.
She legit just stared at him, for a solid minute.
„I ain't that obvious." She tried to defend herself, I just stared at her and shook my head in disbelief.

After we were done eating our plates were taken by the one and only pookie wookie.
marlene was in her own world. Saying how pretty he is and so on.
I just let her have her moment, sipping on my drink.
„If you're happy" I said mocking an old friend of ours that always said this. She instantly bursts out laughing and I did the same.
Everyone around us looked mad pissed.
Gosh why do they have a broom up their ass.

Suddenly I saw the pookie server and Zaynes twin talking to each other and looking at us.
„marlene."
„marlene."
„marlene!" The last name I whisper yelled.
„Mh?"
„Zayne and your pookie just talked to eachother and looked at us. Time to leave mar." I said and we both got up.

When suddenly.

„Stay before you leave." The words sickered into my brain. What?
I looked to my left and saw marlenes pookie smiling at her.
mar and I looked at each other not knowing what to say.
„Hahha sorry but we need to go." marlene said completly out of it.
„Oh okay, have a great night bye bye." I was pretty sure he was just talking to her and not me.

„HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA" The second we left the dining room I bursted out laughing.

„STAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE!??!? What does that mean???" marlene looked like she just saw a ghost.
„Pleasseee you should've answered, give me a reason to stay and then wink" I said which got a glare as a response.
My help was not appreciated here.
„He talked to me!!!!" marlene said, here we go.
