We reached the Mansion and Ma'am was waiting for us.
"Where were you two? It's late at night."
Edward stood there silent and couldn't speak the truth.
So I stood up and spoke out a lie.
"Ma'am, we went to find a shooting star to make a wish."
"I don't believe that, Alex."
"Yes ma'am, we did. I wished for better health where the Young Master wished me death."
"Oh, I don't think that's what I would wish for."
"Well, I know you very well, Young Master."
"Okay, whatever. Go to your rooms."
I was sent to my room. It kept me, wondering about Edward who broke my heart in the first place.
I wanted to leave the mansion. So, I sneaked in Edward's Room and took the contract. And then, the very next day, I burned with contract in front of them.
"I can't live here. I want to go back to the Orphanage."
"Alex, our son already got used to you. It's better if you keep staying."
"Sorry, Ma'am. But, I feel discomfort, staying with him. Please, let me go back to the orphanage and don't let Young Master know where I am."
"If you say so, Alex."
I am finally back to the orphanage with the children.
"Aww, I miss you all!"
"We missed you too!"
It was all back to normal. Same old days with the children and sisters.
But it didn't last longer than I expected.
The parents returned for me and was wishing to meet me. But I ignored.
Some kids also replied them.
"Big brother is sad and doesn't want to talk with you."
Then, one morning, one of the Sisters, offered me to go grocery shopping with them. I agreed to it and went along.
But, she did something against me.
She sent me back to the same mansion and left me there.
Then, a woman, dressed in white, spoke to me about something that shocked me.
"Alex, I know this is cruel but our son met with a car accident and he is quite serious."
"What? You must be lying."
"No, Alex. Even since you left, he avoided eating and went searching for you. But the police came instead, reporting us about the accident. I know that he can't live without you. So please, stay with him."
"Okay, fine."
I suddenly felt the way Edward felt for me. It was like my heart was being pulled apart.
I reached the hospital and rushed in.
I walked in and saw him, bedridden with bandages.
"Can everyone leave us alone?"
The doctors and nurses left, leaving us two alone.
"Alex, come closer, will ya?"
"Edward, I didn't know this would happen. I shouldn't have left you."
"Alex, it's fine. I'm just sorry for kissing you. I know this is quite over to bring you back. But, I can't live without you."
"Edward, past is past. Let's think about the present and future as brothers. Let's start fresh."
