Meg stumbled quickly down the stairs to find the cause of the blaring fire alarm. She chuckled, it was only Nishat clumsily making her an English breakfast. She embraced her lovingly from behind and ruffled her insanely curly hair,
'Good morning sweetie' she murmured dolefully into her ear, 'where were you last night? I missed you!'
Nishat swiftly spun round and Meg caught her eye. She stared longingly into Nishats deep black eyes, and smiled because they seemed to hold a million secrets that she had yet to learn about the owner. Meg loved that; the feeling of mystery that seemed to linger around Nishat like a dark, yet beautiful mist. Whenever she looked into her eyes all she could see was how much she loved her, how much she wanted to spend her life with her. She knew Nishat was the best thing that ever happened to her, and to lose her would be like taking the sun from the sky.

Nishat met Megs bright, aquamarine eyes only for a second before she looked away. How could she have done this to her? She felt Megs hand in hers and embraced the warmth because she knew that these were the last few moments meg would be in love with her. She took in as much breath as she could, begging for her lungs to expand and burst so she wouldn't have to admit her betrayal. Yet alas, they filled up, and she had to face the truth.
'I'm so sorry' she whispered
She saw Megs face turn from love to confusion. 'For what?' Meg eyes twinkled 'burning the eggs?'
'No... It's....' Nishat felt a burning hot tear streak down her face. 'It's...' Her voice dropped to barely a murmur 'I cheated on you'
Meg froze. She had to be joking right? Nishat wouldn't do this to her, no of course not. She couldn't bear to hurt her. 'What... You're joking..' She whispered tentatively.
Nishat looked down in shame. She could hear Megs voice crack. 'No. It was last night. I'm so sorry' she collapsed into tears.
Meg summoned up what little courage she had left to ask the question. 'Who was it? Who did you... Do it with'
Nishat, who was now laying on the ground, looked head on at meg, and told her who.
'Lottie.' She spoke.
