Dylan stares at me with a different type of stare it was kind and caring yet stern his light brown eyes I felt were penetrating me straight to my soul."Hey Elena I was overhearing your conversation and wanted to know if you are okay or needed help."Dylan tells me.
He knew my name no way I thought he didn't even know I existed even though I have known him since 1st grade but we never talked I was always to shy.But one thing is how heard me talking because I was pretty loud but he was on the other side of the room and he's one of the farthest people in the room!which was pretty strange."Oh thanks but that wasn't really necessary and it was nothing ."I responded when my mind had finally returned to earth.
"Is this seat taken?"dylan questioned shylowe told him no and he sat right next to me.i tried not to look at dylan he was fumbling with my hair and then Reychell said "Dylan do you want to tell her or should I ?" "I'll just tell her."dylan replied. "Hold your horses people what are you talking about ?"I questioned. "Look Elena I have known you since first grade and you have always had a secret never told to you and that's our fault and it's starting to come through now well I'm a wolf too and you Elena are a wolf like us but you have always been the alpha it's strange because your a girl but you are and your not just any wolf you have some of witch in you just like our friend shylowe here ,but since your the alpha everyone now hunts you because your new at this and they want to take your pack which is Reychell ,shylowe ,jake,and me so far you will recruit people along the way that you feel you can trust."dylan explained.
"This can't be happening to me ,are you all trying to pull a prank or something this can't be true right?"I start questioning in a crazed tone."Nope it's all true."they all replied in sync.Then I start to get up and dylan grabs me and pulls me into a big hug that I feel like I can be in forever ."Ooooo!!!"shylowe and Reychell exclaim.I was enjoying the hug so much that I just ignored them.But jake walks up and seperate a us by saying "That's enough love birds ,I'm guessing Elena already knows I can't believe I missed it though!" Then we all laughed and went to class.
School day goes by fast and shylowe and Reychell and jake and I were walking to my house when we finally got there they explained on how to shift and that I need to learn to control my emotions and everything else because now everything would feel stronger than before and that learn to control myself because if my emotions become to strong I might change to my wolf form and since I'm an alpha that I have control but it's risky that people could see me or discover that I finally am what has been kept from me for so long .So over the course of the days I get home from school with Reychell,shylowe,and jake they teach me and help train which is strange I am supposed to be the alpha but I'm learning from my pack but I am new so it's fine.One day,Dylan decides to come along he rarely comes because he's busy with lacrosse and his other after school activities but everytime he comes he brings me a bouquet of roses bigger each time he comes I have no idea why he is dating this girl named Brooklyn -(she is really popular and despises me for some reason)I guess it's just a friendly gesture to help keep me calm and happy but it's sweet.Everyday I see him I feel like I fall for him more and I feel jealous of his girlfriend it's strange I have never been jealous she dates him but now I feel connected to dylan and it kills me knowing that he's hers and not mine.
Today is May 15 and Dylan was walking with me and he saw his girlfriend and left and said he would meet me at my house it made me furious he would leave me!So when he finally did he showed up with huge bouquet of flowers and I was still mad so when he handed me the flowers I threw them down and told him to leave "You have a girlfriend and she's yours ,don't give me flowers ever again give them to your girlfriend and just leave I can't talk to you right now!"I say in a hurt but stern tone while picking up the roses and handing them to dylan."What happened Elena are you okay ?im not leaving you like this especially not alone come here and tell me ,and why did you bring my girlfriend into this ?" Dylan replied in a caring tone"LEAVE I don't want to talk to you go what can't you understand I don't want to,and I'm used to being alone I'll be fine!"I yell while tears start to roll down the side of my cheek.he walks up to me looks at me wipes the tears from my face and looks into my eyes and I turn away and try to shut the door but he stops it and walks inside and picks me up and carries me to my room.
Dylan lays me on my bed and sits there watching me and pulls me into a hug and then gets a strange look on his face and dashes out of my house.....
