Chapter 5: June 15th 2015

Summer has been cool so far. I've spent it with Lani, Alex and Heaven. Lance is still on set for a movie he's doing, and Kerry well she's Kerry. Working and "taking care" of us. We pretty much do what we want as long as she knows where we are. She hasn't met Lani or Alex and I honestly don't want her to. At first sight she probably would think Alex is a boy. Lani is a stem so she dresses in the middle. Not boyish but not hella girly either.

NEW MESSAGE: Alex 🎤🎶 flashed across my phone. It was sitting on the kitchen table. Kerry picked it up and read it. It said: what's up lil sis, I'm going on a summer tour around the East Coast. I'm inviting you and Heaven. ATL is first, June 18th-June 21st then we hit Florida June 25th-June 27th, next is Alabama July 1st-July 4th and I'll end the tour in New Orleans July 7th so we can have the tour going up on a Tuesday.

"Kameron who is Alex?" Kerry asked looking concerned. I looked at her, my phone in her hand. "what? Why are you asking?" I said pissed off. She's not my mom, she's my sister. She has no right. "Just answer me please." I looked at Heaven then at Kerry. "Ugh he's a friend from school. Now why you want to know?" She handed me my phone and I read the message. I got excited as hell. "Oh shit Heaven Alex wants us to go on tour with her" I said. Her eyes lit up with happiness. "Kerry can we go? Please?!" She pleaded. Kerry shook her head no. "What child travels the world alone?" She said sounding irritated like it was her child. Alex lived with her mom and dad. They're so cool. Her mom is her stylist and her dad is her manager. "She won't be alone. Her parents are heavily involved in her music career I said. She eased up a little bit but I could still see she was hesitant. "I need to meet them, all three of them before I make a decision." That was good enough for Heaven.

I texted Alex back and told her the only way we could go was if my sister met bother her mom and dad and her. She groaned but said she would talk to them.

12pm

"Kerry, Alex and his parents are on their way" I yelled upstairs. I was nervous. I hope Alex could pull this off and look like a boy. When the doorbell rang Heaven ran to the door. "Hey Alex!" They hugged and Alex introduced her parents. Kerry came downstairs and saw them standing in the kitchen. I hope she told them that she was really a he for today.

"Hi very nice to meet you" Kerry said sticking her hand out to greet them. "Please have a seat" Kerry said pointing to the open chairs. They sat and Kerry didn't hold back. She asked all kinds of questions. They held their composure and reassured her that we would be taken care of.

By the end of the conversation and long interrogation Kerry agreed to let us go. "Cool " Alex said standing up. "We leave tomorrow." Heaven and I ran upstairs to pack. We were so excited. We basically had to pack for a months worth because we would be gone until July 7th. This was going to be the best summer ever. I made sure to finish packing and go to bed early. I wanted to be well rested for in the morning.
