Chapter 3

*CHLOES POV*

I wake up.. On my bed?
I don't remember going to my bed.

The last thing I remember is talking to Ja- oh shit. Did he carry me?

Oh my god. I'm so embarrassed now.
I'm gonna apologize later.

I get up and take a nice hot shower.

I change into sweats and a comfy shirt and led myself downstairs.

I see Amelia making out with.. John??
"Wow guys" I say.

"What?" John says between his make out .

I make myself cereal awkwardly, because they were blocking the counters so I couldn't put it on anything.

I eat it really fast and wash my dishes.
Everyone has a bathroom in their room so that's really good because I don't really want to share bathrooms with anybody.

I go downstairs to see John and Amelia cuddling on the couch, and also NOELANI AND CALEB!!!??

NOELANI can you please answer you your phone" I text.

I see that she got a text message from me and looks at me.

"Answer it." I mouth.

"No, he's right there" she mouths also.
"Text me later then" I mouth for the last time and sit on the couch.

I see someone coming down the stairs making me look up to see Jay piggy back riding.. Rebekkah? They looked like they were having fun.

I immediately got jealous so I went to my room and got changed to some comfortable clothing.

I was going to the park. I leave my phone here not wanting it to bother me. I tell David where I'm going and he said to come back by 11:00 .

I grab my penny board waiting for it to be used.

I go out the door, ignoring everyone that was questioning me.

I go to Taco Bell which was right near by so I ate and went to the park.

I sit down on the empty bench and think about my life existence.

Why do I always get heartbroken? I'm always the one. It's always my friends getting their crush, and not me.

No one will like me.

When it was about 10:45 I went to the house and straight to my room.
I see text messages from Rebekkah.

Reb: chloe, I need to tell you something

C; what is it?

Reb: well, I saw you get jealous, so that's why you left.

And I don't like Jay, he's my cousin.

C: really?
R: yes chloe, he told me he likes you.

C: stop lying

R: I'm not! Go ask him then.

C: well, we'll see what will happen.

I put my phone down and go downstairs to see everyone looking at me. I ignored it and sat down on the empty couch.

"Okay everyone, so today will be a fun day for all of you.

You will be going in partners, and it has to be boy & girl. We are going to the carnival!"

I hear all "yes!" And "finally, I was so bored"

"Since there are an even amount of boys and girls, I picked doing partners.

You will be picking partners.

The goal of today is to ride every single ride, and win every game to get a stuffed animal to donate to charity.

Everyone understands?" He says.

"YES" they all say in unison.

I see Carl and Jhayliz partner up.

Of course John and Amelia.

Noelani and Caleb.

Camille and Troy.
Ok I was getting nervous.

Jamie and Andrew.

Rebekkah and Hal.

Lia and Darren.

And all that was left was, Jay.

This is going to be awkward.

I walk up to him and say, "I guess it's you and me" while smiling.

"yeahh" he says.

"Hey why did you leave the house?" He says
"Oh well you see, when you piggy backed Reb, I got jealous and left the house.. I came back and saw a text message from Rebekkah that you guys were cousins.." I say really fast.
"You're. Jealous?" He says with the hugest smile.
"yes" I say embarrassed.
"Anyways, are you excited for the carnival? I haven't been there since last year" I say changing the subject.
"Yeah!" He says.
Once we were all ready to leave, David gives each partner a limit of $200 for the tickets, food, and games.
David drove us to the carnival and once we got there, he left. He was gonna come back at 10:00 pm.
We arrived at 6:30.
"Jay and I are going to beat you guys" we say walking fast.
"Oh hell no" Troy says
*JAY'S POV*
We walk really fast and I didn't realize she was holding my hand but I didn't care because I was holding the most beautiful girls hand.
When we got to the ticket booth, we got as many tickets so we wouldn't have to go back because it was $1 for each sheet.(ha I wish) We had $190 left which we could spend on the games and food.
We rode the kiddy rides first, and then the scary ones. The last ride was the Ferris wheel.
We got on feeling excited because everyone was still riding rides.
We started moving one by one so everyone can get on.
"Come on hurry up" I say.
She laughs and looks out of the cart.
It's now 8:00 which means we have 2/3 hours to play games after this ride.
Once everyone got on, it was moving.
We went in a full circle 2 times and all we did was just talk about winning the challenge.
We stopped on the top when the ride was over.
I began looking out on the view and taking pictures and such, until my wrist is grabbed and my lips crash on someone's.
When I realize it's chloe, I kiss her back and it turns into a make out session. She pulls away and smiles at me. She takes her phone out and takes a picture with me and then takes pictures at the carnival while we are still on the top.
I'm sitting there confused about what just happened.
"What just happened?" I ask
"We made out" she says while laughing.
"Whatever that was, that was the best I've ever felt"
I was saying the truth. I have never felt that way. I felt something; the thing they call sparks? yeah, that.
