At the restaurant, each of the girls was going to feast at the Pandemonium Society president's expense. She had tried to make Rio, Nagisa, Mika and Seia pay their own way by saying that she was only referring to their Kouhai, but Nagisa expressed that Gehenna was after all no big deal as she wanted to make it look. Iroha's headache did not immediately fall for the provocation. Since no one had asked for anything yet, Rio told the Problem Solver girls not to get their hopes up too high as surely what they would be invited to was water and bread. Haruka said that, if that was what Makoto planned to give her, it was more than she deserved. Seia, wiping the corners of her eyes with a handkerchief, said that Makoto was not as cool as she appeared and Mika that she was disappointed that she had held Makoto in such high esteem. She apologized to the other chairwomen for the rude rant the leader was making and uttered, with some tears in her eyes, a few words of regret for being a nuisance to the stubborn Gehenna chairwoman. Makoto stood up making it noticeable to the whole restaurant and in a loud voice said:

''What do you say, little girl?! You have nothing to apologize for. We, the students of Gehenna, must be magnanimous at all times. Ask for whatever you want, but the bill, tonight, is on me.''

''Is that so?!''

As ifshe had never regretted anything and had been on the verge of crying, Mutsukibegan to order food from the waitress. The others did not take long to imitateher.
