30 YEARS AGO
Professor Seo: "So on the screen shows how we can change the human DNA to give them supernatural abilities. There are-"
Mr. Hwang: "So, how exactly would you be able to accomplish the impossible task?"
Professor Seo: "Well I haven't found an exact way to accomplish this but there are special cells in some humans that have the ability to transform-"
Mr. Hwang: "So, what you're saying is that you have no method of doing this. Then what about financially, are you financially stable to be doing this or is someone donating money?"
Professor Seo: "Neither Sir."
Mr. Hwang: "Then you're just wasting everyone's time with this, it isn't going to work and no one is going to invest in this. You may leave."
Professor Seo bowed to them, took his flash drive and left the office and went outside to the streets and sat on a bench.
Professor Seo: "What was I thinking, it's just stupid."
Mr. Jin: "I don't think it's stupid."
Professor Seo: "What?"
Mr. Jin: "I was listening and I had a similar theory when I was a teaching professor like you. I had the assets, but I thought it was impossible, so I gave up but hearing your presentation brought back my faith in it. So, I'll invest in the experiment."
Professor Seo quickly stood up and bowed many times while saying thank you. He stopped when Mr. Jin said there was no need.
4 YEAR LATER
Professor Seo had been locked up in his lab that Mr. Jin provided, experimenting with different blood samples given to him. He was looking through his microscope, at the tenth sample so far and almost fell off his stool.
Pr. Seo: "OH MY GOD! I FOUND IT!"
2 YEARS LATER
Pr. Seo is at an orphanage.
Pr. Seo: "Can I see the youngest baby girl you have here?"
The Headmistress nodded and then later brought a 6-month-old baby girl to Pr. Seo in her arms. She handed her to him.
Pr. Seo: "What's her birth name?"
H.M.: "She wasn't given one, the mother just left her at our doorstep without a second thought."
Pr. Seo: "I'll adopt her."
H.M.: "I'll get the paperwork."
Pr. Seo: "You'll be my first experiment, Jong Ruby."
