A/N: this was mostly inspired by their video "ranking superpowers 1-10 (we're backkkkk)" from a while ago because it made me think about them with powers and it accidentally turned out to be 10k words. oops. they're also written a lot better here I think, i'm genuinely super proud of this one so enjoy

Cut The Camera Podcast (by the Sturniolo Triplets) upload: EP. 10 Superpowers? Superheroes?: Thoughts on Everything Going On With The Epidemic

"Good morning campers and welcome back to the Cut The Camera Podcast?" The blonde sounds more questioning and unsure than usual as he opens the episode, "I'm Nick Sturniolo." 

The camera cuts to one of his brothers, "Matt Sturniolo." 

"And Chris. Hello." the last one is quick to introduce himself, the three of them stating their names one after another like the topic of the episode was so incredibly important and getting off track wasn't even an option. 

"Okay, so today-" 

"Today we're-" 

"We wanna talk about-" 

All three of them try to talk at the same time, which obviously doesn't work. Nick groaned, before speaking loudly enough to drown everyone else out, "Superpowers are real, and we're talking about it. We had a different concept for this episode but we are talking about the science-breaking shit above all else, obviously." 

"There's not even a fucking outline for this, honestly. We had a few pages written out so that we could record this episode but then yesterday happened and we threw all that out for later." Matt explained, adjusting the headphones on his head. 

"If you're living under a fucking rock, then we'll give you the quick recap." Chris is speaking now, "Starting like early yesterday morning, random people from all over were turning up with unexplainable abilities. I found out through a girl on tiktok who discovered she could send electricity from her hands." 

"Oh my god, I saw that one too!" Nick exclaimed, "I also saw a guy who claimed to have telepathy. Like, hello? What universe are we in?" 

"I saw the video of the chick flying over New York City." Matt told them, "I thought it was like, an acting or stunt trend or something at first but then people starting doing shit on live streams and government people were freaking out all the sudden." 

"They tried making a 'scientific statement' that basically boiled down to 'idk man, magic? don't hurt each other or break any laws lol'. It was actually insane." Nick took a sip of his water. 

"I'm kinda scared, honestly." Chris admitted. "This has been happening for just over twenty four hours and we already have people committing crazy crimes. What happens when someone insanely evil actually gets used to these powers?" 

"I think superheroes will pop up." Matt answered immediately, "If the powers don't just go away, that is. We don't know if it's sticking around. Maybe it's a week-long fluke of the universe and one day we'll wake up and everything will go back to normal." 

"I don't know if that's how this works." Nick disagreed. 

"Well, superpowers didn't fit my vision of 'how this works' until yesterday morning, Nick." he argued back without missing a beat.
