It's summer, the rays of the abnormal hot sun flash in your eyes whenever you try to find something in the middle of the day, heatwaves sending you into a massive heat stroke that could potentially kill you, you can't even spend your time with a precious ice popsicle without finding an area with air conditioning to eat it in before it melts within a few minutes, melting your happiness away slowly..

That's where Ice rinks get in. You could spend all day isolated in there and you wouldn't feel the shitty rays of the star that's trying to make you go blind. Great idea for a date, Unless you're third wheeling.

Meet Son Chaeyoung, smartest in her class, a clutz, a moron unless the topic is about trigonometry and mathematics. Basically, the most nerdy person you could ever meet she's a huge metal nerd, say something about Slipknot and she'll knock you out. The one trait that describes 50% of her is that she can't decide for herself. Sure she can sometimes, but when you really beg her, she'd do it. For example, unknowingly begging her to go with you to the ice rink with your girlfriend.

This is what her Chaeyoung's best friend, Kim Dahyun did. She didn't want Chaeyoung to be alone while her and her girlfriend, Momo Hirai, Hang out. They'd always hang out in high school, so why not bring her to the ice rink while on their date?

"Alrighty, let's get it!"

The Trio got out and into the Ice rink. it was a bit crowded, but they could handle it. Dahyun placed her arm around Momo's shoulder as they looked around, Chaeyoung was holding onto the nearby wall tightly, hoping her balance doesn't fail her. "Chaengie !!" Momo squealed, sliding to her and holding onto Chaeyoung's shoulder, frightening her. She turned to her and froze, hoping she won't fall with her. "M-Momo..! I swear if we both fa-ALL!!" Chaeyoung stops as she felt her foot move a bit on the slippery floor.

Dahyun looked at them, raising a brow. "Oh, so Chaeyoung's your knight in shining armor now? Hmph..!" Dahyun pouted, crossing her arms and turning away in jealousy. Momo and Chaeyoung looked at each other before laughing, Dahyun turned to look at why they started laughing, and unknowingly started laughing with them.

Momo wiped a tear off from laughing before slowing her laugh. "You're funny when you act jealous!" Momo immediately laughed harder.

Dahyun immediately stopped, her cheeks growing red from the compliment. "I-I'm not!!" Dahyun angrily scoffed because of how embarrassed she was, but deep down she wanted to be complimented more...
"O-ok.. let's start moving.." Chaeyoung's laugh faded into a smile as they started moving around the rink.

As they had ups and downs in the rink, well..mostly downs since they kept falling when someone came to close. They enjoyed the rink like it was their last day on earth. You could tell how close they were.

3 hour timeskip

The Trio gasped for air as they glided through the ice and into the exit. unknowingly, Chaeyoung has been laughing quite hard. Meanwhile Dahyun's head was dripping with sweat. "Y-you made me run for you.. around the fucking rink..TWICE." Dahyun grabbed her by her collar shirt with an angry yet tired expression. "Do you know h-how big this rink is Chaengie..?!?!!" She pushed and pulled Chaeyoung back and forth annoyingly.

Momo hugged her by the back and gave her a kiss on her nape. "Dubu..relax, you are my knight in shining armor, I just kept telling you Chaeyoung was to get you jealous." Dahyun's cheeks immediately grew red, and she let's go of Chaeyoung's button up shirt. "A-ah..is that s..so..?" She mumbled. Chaeyoung felt that it was the right time to leave the couple alone, after all..it's their date. Plus, it looks like Momo is about to pull something..mischievous. would be awkward if Chaeyoung was just standing there watching them flirt, maybe even more salacious than that..
