Robin:
"Hey Finn!" I smile and gently hug him from behind. He softly shrugs me off of him and continues to talk to Bruce.Bruce shoots Finney a weird glance. "Finney, are you okay?" Bruce asks him. "Yeah, what would make you think I'm not okay?" He asks. "The fact you totally ignored Robin just now," Bruce says. Finney struggles to come up with a response. He just shrugs.
"I'm going to the bathroom," he says and speed walks away. "What's up with him?" I ask. "I don't know, but that's not the way to the bathroom," Bruce shrugs. "He wasn't acting like this before you came over, did you two argue?" Bruce asks. "No, I don't think," I mumble, beginning to get nervous.
"What if he hates me? What if he thinks I'm stupid? Or annoying? Holy shit, what if he doesn't want to be friends anymore?! What if he-" I ramble. "Your right, Robin. He doesn't want to be your friend," Bruce shrugs. A visible panic spreads onto my face. "He wants to be more. He wants to be your boyfriend, not friend. He likes you, Robin."
I turn a bright red. "Yeah but what if-" I start. "No buts or what ifs," Bruce demands. "Sorry," I mumble. "Just go ask him out!" He presses. "I don't know where he is!" I say. "Speak of the devil," he points as Finney walks towards us.
"I'm back," Finney mumbles. "Hey," I greet. "It was nice talking to you two, but I need to go," Bruce smirks. "Okay, bye," I say, trying to look visibly calm.
Finney begins to walk off. "Finn," I yelp and grab his arm. He turns towards me. "Did I do something?" I ask. "No," he shrugs, his face dusting pink. "Can I talk to you in private?"
We walk out off of campus. He walks to the park and sits on a bench. He signals for me to sit next to him. "What did you need?" I ask. "I need to tell you something, Robin. You have to promise me you won't hate me after," he sighs. "I could never hate you, I promise," I softly whisper.
"I like you, Robin, I always have," he says, tears brimming his eyes. "Hey, don't cry," I mumble, pulling him gently on my lap. "I like you too, Finn,"
I gently grab his chin and gorse him to look at me. His face is bright pink and his eyes are puffy. Fresh tears rush down his face and quickly ruin my shirt.
I push my lips on his. The kiss was salty, do to his tears, but amazing nonetheless.
