"So how was hanging out with that kid." Minho asked sucking on a cola flavour lollipop.

"Hes sweet just quiet." Hyunjin layed on Minhos pillow , relaxing on his bed. The two where at Minhos house after Changbin had to go tutor Felix at his house.

"You think hes into one of us?" "I saw how red he got" Minho laughed and teased.

"Eh probably not." Hyunjin took the cherry lollypop from his mouth and sat up.

"You could probably change that , who wouldn't fall in love with you ,look at you!" The older replied in much to gay of a way to ever be platonic.

"Someone who has common knowledge." Hyunjin smiled , a painful but true smile. Why he smiled? He didn't know. He guessed it was a habit.

Minho said nothing and the pair sat in silence until one of them thought of something new to bring up or say.

"Can i smoke in here?" Hyunjin asked and reached into his pocket.

"Keep the window open."

Hyunjin stood up and opened the window , popping his head out of it as he lit the smoke.

"I offered Jeongin a smoke ,hes really against it." Hyunjin made small talk while blowing the toxins into the air.

"Jeongin?" Minhos eyes brows furrowed , i guess Minho hadn't heard his name yet.

"The boy from today" Hyunjin spoke.

"You even got his name? Wow Hwang i didnt think you guys where that serious, one step closer to getting him to fall Inlove if hes not already." Minho joked around and scoffed , Minho definitely had gotten into some shitty friend groups in the past that fucked him up. Luckily Hyunjin basically saved him.
Some of Minhos bad habits he picked up from the group still showed or where yet to disappear.

"Im not that evil. Im not like you Minho i don't care for getting people to fall inlove with me." Head still out the window , he judged.

"Fuck off you've successfully made at-least five fall for you these past couple months." Minho fought back rolling his eyes.

"That isnt my fault they cant handle how charming, thoughtful, loving, and handsome i am!" Hyunjin joked around. Infact ; he didn't see himself as any of those things , not anymore atleast.
He has a good heart its just lost somewhere.

Theres not a proper way to describe him .. love and hate. His heart is the polar opposite to his brain. That brain filled of smoke and bad decisions , paired with a heart still so unknowingly full of love that was un reciprocated.
Hyunjin didnt have the easiest childhood he barely got much love a his 'home' that was full of swearing,drugs,alcohol and neglect. The boy basically lived at Minhos house now.

Deep down he really had a good heart. Hyunjins brain just learnt how cruel this word can be to early on witched seemed to have an effect on his behaviour and way of seeing things.

The same went for the other boy in the room , the one sat on a spiny chair sucking on a lollypop halfway to its death.

Minho just wanted a reason to live apart from cigarettes and skating , maybe even Hyunjin?
He wished he saw the brighter side of life and wasn't stuff in a never ending pool of bad hurtful coping mechanisms and self hatred.
