Two months have passed since Carl had resumed absolute leadership in their home. Very few things changed and yet everything did at the same time. The group have decided that calling Carl Sir was way to awkward, something he was thankful for, and decided on big brother. Carl knew that they would have trouble changing their routine since the change of leadership but he remained strong and fought to keep their respect. Going as far as to push past his breaking points and going on. It's what Turner would have wanted for him, he knows this better than anyone else.

He picked up on the work he left off on when he went on an unnecessary leave. Work and problems piled up during his leave and he had to work twice as hard to catch up on the problems. Despite the migraines from his injury he kept moving, exhaustingly so.

"Come on." Callum commanded one day as he pulled him from his chair and dragged him down the hall.

"Callum you know I have work. Ever second I'm away more shit comes out. I have to help the garden, the hunters and the gatherers along with helping Sally make up the theme for this seasons children's activity." Carl rambled on annoyed.

"I had Trevor talk to Sally about the theme and they will come to you for last say. Peter will be leading a group of hunters today over by the old barn. And Heather has decided to take over weeding, watering and caring for the garden. Everything is taken care of and if you find a problem than we'll have someone take that on as well. We've all decided that you need a break. And I need my boyfriend back, just for a few hours." Callum asked with wide hopeful eyes.

"Are you sure-" Carl began to worry.

"I'll handle things here." Kai saluted knowing he, as Carls second in command, had his full trust.

"Completely. Now come on I got romantic shit to show you." Callum pulled him away Carl laughing behind him.

"What could you possibly have to show me?" Carl teased.

"Everything." Callum said whimsically.

"Okay Aladdin show me the world." Carl told him taking his hand.

Callum took him out of their little home and through the mountain path winding up the mountain. Carl followed after him confused but curious enough to not ask to go back. After all Callum would only bring him up here if it was completely important.

"What are we doing here Callum?" Carl sighed, exasperated.

"Getting you to relax." Callum offered as they rounded a corner and Carl spotted a blanket on the ground with wrapped up food.

"What is this?" Carl asked, wide-eyed.

"What never seen a picnic before?" Callum quipped.

"Of course I have jackass." Carl laughed as he hit Cal in the shoulder.

"Well that's a relief. Come on lets get to eating. The kitchen made quiet a good spread so we batter get to eating it." Callum told him as he sat himself down, Carl dropped next to him as Callum decided to lean on his shoulder as soon as Carl was settled in.

For two hours Carl and Callum laughed and ate together telliing stories of their families and what one of the groups did that made them laugh the other day.

"Callum I have to go back now." Carl sighed wishing he didn't have to remind himself of the responsibilities waiting for him at the hotel.

"I know." Callum sighed as he got up and started to clean up.

"We should do this again someday. Maybe make it a date day? Once a month?" Carl asked with a teasing smile.

"Yeah. I'd like that."
