The last two years have probably been the best Cassie has ever had. Even if the first time with the baby and a toddler was stressful, she hadn't regretted a second of it and wouldn't want it any other way⸺ and Happy felt the same way.

That he would ever have his own family, an Old Lady and kids at that was something he never dreamed of, yet he loved every single second of his life. Five years ago he probably would have shaken his head and thought the others were crazy if they had told him that he would have a family of his own in the future.

But now his first priority was his family and they were at the top, then the club came. Here in Tacoma everyone of his brothers understood that⸺ which made things a lot easier. Happy had enough quality time with his wife, his two kids and Opie and yet he and his small family spent enough time at the club, too. They had found the perfect balance.

Twice a year they visited Charming for a week to visit James, Benny, Lyla and their children. And James also came to Tacoma twice a year with his family. This way they saw each other at least four times a year for a few weeks. It didn't sound like much, but it was better than nothing. And they had phones, it wasn't like they lived in the middle ages. Benny often stopped by when he found time and didn't have to work.

As with Lily, who would soon be starting her first year at school, the now eighteen year old had also formed close bonds with his sister's kids and was probably the best uncle Callum and Rosie could wish for.

After Rosalie Lowman was born a year and a half ago, Happy's and Cassie's marriage only grew stronger, becoming even more intimate and better than it already was before, and unlike Callum, who was a momma's boy, Rosie was a total daddy's girl.

“Buddy, hug your sister, I wanna take a nice picture”, Cassie, with a camera in her hand, beamed at the toddler who sat at the bottom of the stairs in his cute bat costume giving her the widest smile.

Rosie, who was a good mix of Happy and Cassie with her dark brown, almost black hair and those pretty green eyes, toddled towards her brother. Her legs wide apart as she seemed to hesitate between each step she made. The girl only learned to walk a few weeks ago and was still being careful. But then there were days when the toddler didn't care at all and ran through the whole house, not caring a bit when she stumbled over her own feet or lost balance and fell.

“Come here, Rosie”, Callum's sweet voice called out for her, his arms held open making the little girl smile at him, revealing the few teeth she already had.

“Good job, pumpkin”, Cassie complimented her daughter, who was wearing a ladybug costume, as she reached her brother and plopped down next to him on the stairs, making Rosie's smile widen as if she understood perfectly well what her mother was saying.

After Cassie snapped a few pictures that she would definitely print out and hang up next to all the other family pictures, Callum jumped up and ran over to his mom to jump in her arms hug her, which he always did out of nowhere.
