I the first game Kratos and atreus tryed to get to the too of tallest peak In the relms all relms and doing so they killed two sons of thor magey,modey and baldur which is the son of fryea and she casted a spell on him to not feel pain and health regeneration which the spell stoped and baldur and Kratos snapped his neck and fryea got crazy mad and was bounded bey her ex odin to midgurd which is were a very strong winter storm never ends because of baldurs death and now thor and odin are pissed because of that and want to win ragarok whoch will only happen if heimdall the gate keeper of asgurd and herrled of ragonrok and boom hopefully this helped you to understand god of wars history which in nors mythology
