You and your class went out on a trip out in the woods. Honestly, you didn't pay much attention in class so you had completely no idea where you were headed. You usually just followed with the flow. Bakugo and Kirishima were there so you didn't need to think as hard because you trusted them.

You thought this evening at camp was supposed to be fun. You and the other students were preparing to take on a challenge, and you were paired up with Deku. Originally, you and Deku were about to head into the Test Of Courage but then villains appeared and attacked. You and a few others encountered a toothy guy early on. Honestly, you had no idea what he was but he managed to stab through your shoulder. Though, Tokoyami and the others managed to defeat him.

When you found out that the villains were after Bakugo, your friends got together to protect him. Bakugo, in his usual fiery way, expressed he didn't need anyone's help. He was loud and furious, but you playfully punched his arm, "Yeah, yeah. Sure you don't. Against all these experienced villains, we trust you completely on your own", You'd cross your heart, grinning.

"Stop being sarcastic, idiot. I really don't need protection.", He huffs. You'd roll your eyes at him as you all kept hurrying through the dark forest. Soon enough, you all find Uraraka on the ground with Tsuyu bleeding from the tongue. A petite blonde girl glaring at you all before running off.

"I'm glad you guys didn't get badly injured...", Deku sighs, relieved.
"Yeah. It's a good thing you're not disabled like Deku is at the moment.", You'd gesture at Deku with your thumb, causing a few of your friends to stifle a snort.
"Anyways. Come on, join our group. We're protecting Kacchan and taking him back to camp."

Tsuyu and Uraraka glanced at each other skeptically, "....If you're protecting Bakugo, shouldn't he be here with you?"

"...."

"....Huh? What are you talking about?", Deku chuckles nervously.
You glanced behind yourself. Gone. He's gone. Bakugo was supposed to be right behind you.

"That idiot disappeared.", You mutter. Everyone stood silently, unknowing what to do.

"Nice trick, right?", A voice draws your attention. It was a masked man, he stood on a tree branch, leaning on his wooden walking stick. He held a blue pearl in his hand.
"I took the lad you were talking about with magic."

He flicks his wrist up, throwing the pearl, juggling it with his hand, "Talent like his would be squandered if he ever became a hero. We'll provide him with a grander stage. Where he can truly shine.", Your eyes flit towards Deku. His face was pale. Brows scrunched up and teeth bared.
"Give him back!"
"Give him back?", He repeats, "What an odd thing to say! Bakugo doesn't belong to anyone. Don't be so arrogant."

No one was taking action at first. You couldn't just stand there while they bickered so you'd crouch, gaining momentum as you'd flex your fingers, feeling the cold air swirl around your hands before leaping quickly up at him, the air boosting you. Todoroki seemed to think of attacking as well as he'd produce sharp ice toward him simultaneously.

The villain dodges with ease, leaping away. In place of where the villain was supposed to be, you got caught in Todoroki's ice instead. "....Thanks for freezing me, Todoroki.", You mumbled.
"Oh. Sorry." He'd immediately unfreeze you, your feet touching the solid ground once again.
"Nah. It's fine. I was chilling anyways", You grin, "...Get it?"
"Not the time.." Shoji reminds you.

"Why the show of aggression? We just wish to show him there are better professions...", He muses, his hand on his hat to prevent it from flying away. "After all, it's better to choose a profession that easily twines with your inner core."

Your brows furrowed, "They didn't just take Bakugo. Tokoyami's gone as well!", Shoji yells out.

"Yes. Actually, taking Tokoyami was a bit of improv on my part." You'd carefully twitch your fingers, feeling the air move at your will. You use your quirk mostly to enhance your strength and agility, you've never tried using it ranged, but you needed to try and knock the pearls out of his hands.

You'd form a gust of wind behind him, knocking him off balanced successfully. "Oh dear!", He'd reach for the pearls that were in the air and Todoroki immediately rushes forward, slamming his foot on the ground to prevent the villain from catching the beads.

Stepping off on your dominant foot, you ran forward, hands wide open as you catch a bead in one hand. Todoroki follows behind, reaching out for the second bead but instead, a man with black hair and stitches on his face grasps it. A portal appears behind them and the masked villain snaps his fingers before exiting, "Ugh! They ruined my finale..."

Both pearls would flicker before the trapped users appear. Tokoyami would land beside me and Bakugo stood in front of the man with stitches. "Poor little Todoroki." The villain grinned. He slowly took a step back into the portal. His hands gripped Bakugo's neck.

"Kacchan, No!", Deku rushes forward, snapping you out of shock. Shaking your head, you'd gather enough air around your legs before you boosted yourself, lunging forwards at Bakugo, his eyes widened. "...Stay back..!"

Bakugo was halfway through the portal. "Shut up! Don't say shit like that!", you reached your hands out, grabbing Bakugo by his hair and pulling him back. You hear him groan in pain as you pass through the portal. As you fell forwards, you'd place your foot on Bakugo's back, pushing him back out of the portal in time as it closed.

You landed inside a bar with your head hitting against a table hard. You strained your eyes towards the villains who stood around you. Some looked curious. Some looked furious.

They began to become fuzzy. The edges of your consciousness blurred, a fog rolling in to obscure the boundaries of thought. Panic clawed at your chest, its icy fingers tightening around your heart as you desperately clung to the fading light. In the end. Everything faded to black.
