Chapter 1

Amy-lee's POV

****FLASHBACK****

"Liam maybe this isnt the best idea... you tried last time and Simon said no what makes you think its going to work this time?" I asked as we walked home from school. "Ams I know I can do this. And Simon said no because I was to young." He said as he pulled me into a side hug. I stuffed my hands into my coats pockets trying to keep them warm. "Fine but dont expect me to go with you to your audition" I giggled as we stopped at my house. "Okay thats just plain mean." He said as he opened the little white gate for us. "Im not the biggest fan of waking up early to stand in the cold weather. Im a warm weather girl remember." I said laughing as I opened the front door and walked in. "Amy youve been living here for 7 years im pretty sure you are used to the weather." He said as we walked into the kitchen where my mum was. "Hi kids." Mum greeted as we walked in. "Hi Mrs Feild." Liam said sitting down at the island in the middle of the kitchen. "Liam I've told you a million time to call me Susan." Mum said as she handed us each a plate with some weird food on it. "Taste its something im trying for work." Mum said giving as a big smile. Liam and I looked at each other then down at the food and took I bite. "Ummmm mum this is disgusting. "I said pulling a face. "Its really salty" Liam added to my statement. "But its meant to be sweet..." she said going over the recipe. "Mum you added salt not sugar!" I said as I handed Liam a glass of water. "Oops... sorry kids." She said with a little laugh. "So Liam I hear you are going back for X Factor." My mum said making us each a sandwich and a cup of tea. "Yip. Ams doesnt agree that its a good idea, if you ask me she just doesnt want me to get my feeling hurt by Simon again." He said with a giggle. "Agggg whatever I gave you my thoughts." I said as I turned around to head up to my room.

***END OF FLASHBACK***

"Ammmmmyyyyyyyy" Liam sang from behind my door. "Liam im nearly done." I laughed as I checked my make up. Ive got to say I was looking amazing! I had black skinny jeans on with cream coloured ankle boots that had a heel, since I was sooooo short, with a cream coloured shirt with was loose on me but looked amazing. My hair was hanging down my back in its natural loose curls. I opened the door and Liam fell face first onto my room floor. "Li-li doors arent there to lean on they can hold themselves up." I said as I picked up my handbag and laughed at him. "Come on we gona be late!" He said as he pulled me to where our families were waiting.

When we got to the X Factor place Liam put his arm around my shoulder after ajusting my black pea coat and white scarf to make sure I was warm. "You ready to meet my band mates?" Liam asked as we walked through the door. It was the finals of X Factor and of course Liam got me to come watch. We walked into a room where 4 boys sat on their phones. "Hey Lads. I want you to meet my best friend Amy-lee." He said as he took my coat and scarf and put it down with his. "Hiii Amy-lee." They said in unison. "Okay so that is Harry." Liam said pointing to the curly haired boy. "And that is Louis." He said pointing the the brown haired boy on the floor. "That is Niall." He said pointing to the blonde haired boy in the corner. " And this is Zayn." He said patting the black haired boy's head. "Aye mate my hair!" He said as he jumped up and ran to a mirror. I laughed a little and sat down next to Liam, as close as I could actually I felt more secure in a way. "So Amy-lee how do you know Liam?" Louis asked from the place where he was lying on the floor. "You can call me Amy the only people who call me Amy-lee is my family and Liam when he wants to irritate me." I said looking over at the smirking Liam. "And well I moved to Wolverhampton when I was 9 and Liam was in my class, I actually sat next to him in class he couldnt stop pulling at my curls and I guess thats how we became friends." I said laughing at the memory. "Aaaa so he has always been a irritation." Louis said sitting up and winking at Liam. I laughed cause he really never was he was actually the least irritating person in the world, when he wasnt trying to act like my big brother. I watched as Niall sat in the corner watching me in silence I wonder what he think about me. He is kind of cute... oh no Amy you not gona think like this I thought to myself the Liams touch brought me out of my thoughts. "Do you want to go to your mum?" He asked. I nooded and grabbed my coat and scarf. "Bye lads. Good luck." I said before we walked out and towards our families. Liam dropped me off and went back to his band we made our ways to our seat.

"I cant believe they didnt win!" I moaned as we walked towards the lads. "Amy thats life just be there for Liam now." Liam's mom said as we got closer. I ran up to Liam and gave him the biggest hug ever making him loose his balance for a second then he wrapped his arms around him and just enjoyed the hug. "Im so sorry Li-li." I said as I pulled away. "Its okay. Dont worry about it." He said as he took my coat from my hands and put it on my and did the same with my scarf. "Want to come with us? We going to Nandos." He said with a little smile. I looked over to my parents and they both nodded as did I. Liam put his arm around my shoulder and turned to the other lads and smiled. "Lets get going then." He said. I could see Niall watching me out of the corner of my eye but I didnt think about it much. As we walked outside we were mobbed by a bunch of girls holding up One Direction posters. You are my idols!

Were some of the posters i could read before Liam pulled me into him to hide me from the screams. When we got into a car everyone was silent. "Ummm what the hell was that..." Zayn asked breaking the silence. "We lost why are they going crazy..." Harry said next. "I have no idea..." Liam said before he turned to me. He examined me and turned my face then after doing that for about 5 minutes with a worried look on his face finally spoke again, "are you okay Ams?" He asked. "Yea im fine" I said giggling. "Wow he is even like that with you." Harry said with a little laugh. "Yea sometimes he forgets im older by 12 days." I said pinching Liams cheeks. Everyone laughed and then we stopped at Nandos. Niall jumped out of the car and ran into Nandos. I kinda forgot he was here. Oops.

Liam's POV

I felt so bad that Amy had to experience that with those girls. She didnt seem hurt or anything so I had to leave it. I guess it would of happened at some stage just didnt think it would have been right after we lost X Factor. We walked into Nandos and found Niall ordering for everyone and himself. Amy giggled at his sight and looked up at me. "Liam I am so proud of you." She said with a smile. I smiled back this girl was truely amazing she was the best best friend in the world. "FOOD!!!" Niall and Amy screamed at the same time. They were actually so alike it wasnt even funny. We ate in silence when my phone started ringing. I answered it without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?"I said as I licked my fingers. "Hi Liam I knew you would be the only one to answer your phone." Simon said on the other end. "Yea I guess the lads arent to good at that." I laughed alittle. "Liam please tell the lads that we are having meeting tomorrow at 12 at my office." He said quickly. "Umm sure." I said before he hung up. "Umm lads Simon said we have a meeting at his office at 12 tomorrow." I said as I watched all their faces turn into confusion.

Amy got along with the lads quite easily they loved her. I watched as they all exchanged cell phone numbers with her before we left. "Watch he is gona check that her coat is on right and that her scarf is gona keep her warm." Harry said as Amy stood up and put her coat and scarf on. I did it out of instinct I didnt even think about it. "Told ya!" He said as I finished my routine check. "Bye lads." Amy giggled before turning around and walking towards the door with me. "You know im not 9 anymore. Im pretty sure I can make sure im warm on my own." She giggled before climbing into my dad's car. It weird how she doesnt have her South African accent anymore she sounds like she was born and raised here except for her incredibly tanned skin which she gets from visiting family every holiday. "Did you two have fun?" My dad asked from the drivers seat. "Yea we did." I said as we drove off to Amy's hotel. "Thank you so much Mr Payne" she said climbing out of the car. "Its only a pleasure Amy." My dad said. I waved good bye and smiled. She waved back and made her way to the hotel.

When I got to our hotel X Factor booked. I fell onto my bed and checked my phone 5 messages.

Amy-lee ;) : hey li-li can I come over tomorrow? Mum and dad want to go do some shopping before we go back home.

Zayn: Ey mate. We gona come over to your place before we go in to the meeing is that okay?

Louis Lou ♥: answer Zayn!

Nicola: hey baby bro. Im sorry to hear about X Factor but hey I have a feeling it doesnt matter. Love ya see you soon. ♡

Louis Lou♥: LIAM ANSWER ZAYN!!!!

I really needed to change his name back to Louis. I quickly answered everyone and slowly fell to sleep
