Chapter 21

Amy-lee's POV

Its been a week since my mum's Skype call. I havent really had motivation to do anything lately ive sat in bed all day reading or watching Niall. Today was my Ouma's funeral and my cousins set up a skype call for us so we could be part of it. I quickly pulled on my black sundress like dress that had black lace sleves and pulled my hair into a bun before doing my make up. I walked out of the room and down the stairs only to see that the lads have moved the living room around that we can all see the screen. I walked into the kitchen and Harry was cooming while Louis, Niall and Zayn waited for Liam to make their ties for them. "Morning Amy." They all said in unison. "Morning lads." I said going to ait down on a bar stool. As I sat to arms snaked their way around me and higged me tight. "Hi princess." Niall said leaning his chin on my shoulder. "Hi Ni. Need help with our tie?" I asked turning around to see Niall nod. I quickly made his tie and waited for the pancakes Harry was making. "Food is ready." Harry said handing us each a plate and we ate in silence. "Okay to the living room everyone we dont want to be late." Liam said as we filed into the living room and connected with my cousins.

"And now for Marley's grandchild Amy-lee."someone said. "Hello everyone. Sorry I cant be there in person but im there at heart but heres my speech... my ouma... ouma Marley was a wonderful woman. I loved her dearly and still do it is such a shame she had to leave us so soon...." I said then wiped my tear away. "Im sorry I cant.." I said falling into Niall's chest. Louis took my speevh out of my hand and started reading. "Ouma made my move to the UK so much easier. She called me everyday and asked me about how my school was and if I made any friends. The day I told her about Liam she jumped on a plane to come visit us and meet this friend of mine. My ouma was the best ouma out there. I love you ouma." Louis said putting the paper down and leaned back and we watched everyone else's speeches.

"Hey Ams wana go out?"Liam asked as he walked into mine and Niall's bedroom. "Umm sure let me just slip into something more comfortable" I said standing up and picking a pair of jeggings and a knitted sweater. I quickly threw the clothes on and a pair of grey ankle boots. I walked out bringing my gry pea coat and white beanie with me. I quickly put it on and waited for Liam. "Ready to go?" He asked checking my outfit. "Yea." I answered stuffing my phone into my pocket. Liam opened the door and we walked down the street towards Starbuck. "How you feeling Ams?" Liam asked hooking our arms. "Im okay I guess still alittle sad." I answered looking down at the ground. "Well guess what its a new year its a new you!" Liam exclaimed as we reached Starbucks. "Usual?" Liam asked and I nodded headig towards a table in the corner and pulled out my phone. I logged into twitter and went through my mentions.

I stopped reading them when Liam sat down next to me. "What you doing?" He asked looking at my phone. "Twitter...." I said locking my phone and puttig it on the table. "Amy are you getting hate?" Liam asked quickly. I nodded slowly and he took my phone and looked through my twitter. I took a sip of my coffee while Liam pulled out his phone and started to type away on it. "Okay now Amy I was thinking... do you wana go back to wolverhampton for a while? Go back to school and all." Liam said sipping his beverage. "I dont know Liam it would be weird coming home with no parents there..." I said. "Well actually you will have..." he said pulling out pieces of paper. "Meet you parents. Louis and Harry!" He excliamed putting a photo of Louis and Harry in front of me. I laughed and looked at him. "Oh don't forget your new neighbors Zayn and Niall" he said putting photos of Zayn and Niall down. I looked at the photos carefully the one of Louis and Harry was taken backstage at a concert on tour they were stealing golf carts and snapped a selfie in the process, the one of Zayn was him in the bathroom busy with his hair and obviously not expecting a camera shoves into his face and fianlly Niall's photos it was taken on one of the days off on tour we were in New York and Niall found this sweet shop where he devoured everything which left choclate framing his mouth. I looked from the photos to Liam and back to the photos. "We're your family for now and whether you like it or not we going to Wolerhampton." Liam said smiling as I nodded. Well this can only be intresting

"WE HOME!" Liam yelled and immediately everyone was hugging us. Oh did I meantion somehow my sound tolerance actually improved I dont get headaches with loud noises anymore! "Guess what.... we going to Wolverhampton!" Liam exclaimed and everyone cheered. "Go back we have a long ride." Liam said walking up stairs. I quickly ran into the room and packed all my things and toom my bags downstairs. I watched as Liam and Louis packed the bags in the back of the van. "Ready to go love?" Niall asked hugging me from behind. I nodded and headed towards the van. "Shot gun!" Harry yelled jumping into the front seat next to Louis. I sat next to Niall and Liam well Zayn was lying in the back. And let the ride begin.

Liam's POV

I watched as Amy, Louis and Harry unpacked their bags before running into her house. I followed them before stopoing in the kitchen sitting at a bar stool looking around. This kitchen has a lot of memories in it...

*FLASHBACK*

"Well if you think about it in some way we are all related." Amy said popping a piece of her muffin in hrr mouth. I turnes my bar stool around to face Amy's dad. "What do you think Mr Feild?" I asked. "I agree with Amy. We all had to have had one common relative." He answered. "Well I dont know about it." I said quickly. "Well I am." Amy said stuffing another piece of muffin in her mouth. "Well Liam I would side with you but if my very smart daughter believes it then I guess she's right." Mr Feild said kissing to the top of her head. "Love you daddy!" She yelled as he left the kitchen. "Hi kids. What ya talking about?" Mrs Feild asked walking into the kitchen with some bags in her hands. "Related ancestors." Amy said paging through her Biology textbook without looking up at her mom. "Oh and who believes in it and who doesnt?" Her mum asked. "I dont believe it, Amy does." I asked sipping my water. "Well Liam whether you are related through a common ancestor or not you still family to us. Isnt that right Amy?" She asked looking at her daughter. "Him!? Family!? Mum no!! He...he....he... he will eat my oreos!" She yelled dramatically falling onto the ground in sobs. "Just kidding of course you are Li." Amy said standing up dusting herself off.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

"What ya thinking about Li?" Amy asked from behind me. "Oh nothing just remember the good old days." I said as she wrapped her arms around me and put her chin on my shoulder. "The days when you looked like Justin Bieber with that hair of yours?" She asked giggling. "Hey you one to talk remember when you dyed your hair bright pink and your mum had a heart attack when we came home." I said laughing. "I will have you know I totally pulled off that hair colour for the good 3 days I had it." She said laughing alittle more. "Do you miss it?" She asked breaking the silence we were sitting in. "Yea a little... like the other day I was sitting on stage before Q&A and I missed home. I missed walking to school and back home with you and coming home to my mum and dad and sometimes Nicola and Ruth... I miss it all the time but I know this is better than what some people expected me to turn out as. Im greatful." I said staring at the table. "I miss it to..." Amy said softly tightening her grip around me a little more. I could hear the pain in her voice as she said that. "Oi whats going on here!?" Louis yelled from the door. "Shut up Lou. Im having bonding time with Liam." Amy said not moving. "NIALL! AMY'S XHEATING ON YOU WITH LIAM!" Louis yelled and within seconda Niall was in the room. "What the... oh they just doing their huggy thing again." Niall said sitting on the counter opposite us. "You two okay?" Niall asked looking at us in concern. "Yea we fine just memories coming back." Amy said sweetly still not letting me go. "Hey babe can we do movie night?" Niall asked Amy and she nodded quickly. "we gona go get some snacks then!" Niall exclaimed jumping off of the counter running to Louis. Amy and I stayed exactly like we were before they came in. I loved this so much, being able to sit like this with Amy and no one judges or makes assumptions. "Li..." Amy said softly. "Yea Ams?" I said waiting for her to say something. "I feel like I've been pushing Niall away..." she asked letting go of me. I quickly spun around to look at her now sad and fragile figure. "Ams you havent dont worry he knows you going through a rough patch and he still loves you more than ever." I said pulling her into a hug. "Thanks Li." She said and if one cue Louis and Niall came storming into the house while Zayn and Harry came downstairs.
