30,000 Russian troops,320 BTR's of different classes about 520 Tanks,450 Armored Cars, 600 Ural trucks,75 Msta-S Self-propelled Howitzers, 40 Grad multiple launch rocket systems,6 KA-52 Alligator helicopters and 9 Su-34 fighter jets are gathering preparing to be given the order to cross.

It was a miserable day, I had to leave my family back in Moscow as I was called up for 'Training' but oh well.

We were told that Ukrainians are Nazis and puppets of the West who want to destroy Russia and that the Ukrainian president is a neo-Nazi holding the Ukrainian people hostage.

I sit on top of a BTR-90 just trying to get the thought of invasion out of my mind I was unsuccessful anyway.

Me and my company sit on a field 2.5 Km away from the border of mainland Ukriane my company of 250 soldiers, 24 T-72b3's, a T-90M, 35 BTR 80's,10 BTR 90's,22 Ural-5323 Trucks,7 2S19 Msta-S Self propelled howitzers, 12 Grad multiple launch rocket system and 9 Tigr armored cars are currently painting 'Z' on their vehicles as they maintain every component of the vehicles.

5 hours later
11:54 PM

All units of my Brigade are currently making last minute checks on their vehicles as they have received the order to cross the border.

All Su-34's and Ka-52's have been attacking all military targets in the Kherson oblast.

Five minutes later we were all ready and we got into a column and crossed the border I am in my BTR-90 in the front of the column behind me are seven T-72's

We spent the morning driving past captured towns and then finally the battles have begun

5 km north of the border with Crimea.

Everything seemed fine we were driving straight along a dirt road with a Forest surrounding us.

Suddenly a Missile comes from the front of me and barely missed me it hit the T-72 instead but its ERA(Explosive Reactive Armor) prevented it from hitting the tank hull itself.

"Men dismount!" My commander orders

The BTR stops and we open the doors all 7 soldiers exit the Vehicle and aim my Ak-12 at the tree looking everywhere for any Ukrainians.

Suddenly 9 Ukrainians rise from the trees and fire on us with AK's

We fire back and I rapid fire my AK I aim through my red dot sight point it at his head and shoot him five times he falls to the ground dead. The autocannon of the BTR points at them and fires killing four more Ukrainians the rest retreat.

We wait a few more minutes and nothing.

"You see anything?" I ask a soldier to my right

"No." He responds

"Alright mount up!" The Battalion commander orders

We all mount our vehicle and head to Chaplynka.

At Chaplynka

The city of Chaplynka used to have a population of 9,018 but as news of the Russian invasion most fleed left 300 people who volunteered to the Territorial Defense to protect the city from the Russian invaders.

They are armed with Ak-74M's, Rpg-7 grenade launchers and Rpk Light Machine Guns.

They have 14 BTR-60's and 10 T-55's they have been reinforced with a Platoon of Ukrainians of 20 soldiers,3 BTR-70's and 2 T-84's. They have been ordered to hold the Russians as long as possible.
