It ate at him.

Not a single drop of mercy was given to him.

The sleepless nights and scratching started to affect his physical appearance.

Blood...

It was an addiction and he needed more.

More of the flesh sliding down his throat.

More of the blood dripping from his mouth.

More of the melodic screams gracing his ears.

It's not cannibalism if your not human right?

He was feigning for it.

He was hooked.

And the only way to feed his addiction.

Was to eat.

But it seemed like it was never enough. He'd gorge himself on the succulent flesh, eating every bite but only wanting more.

His self control had long since died, it quickly unraveled from the first taste and was completely obliterated by the last.

In his eyes he was a monster.

A monster who had no regard for humanity. As long as he was fed, the lengths and means he used to do it didn't matter anymore.

Because at the end of the day...

It's a dog eat dog world.
