Mother's Know Best

Mal grabbed a lollipop from a little baby and held it up. Everyone cheered. Sadly, the cheering died down and people started to scream and run. Me and Mal were facing the crowd, but knew exactly who it was. Mal let her arm drop loose to her side and we turned around.

"Hi mom." We said in sync. Maleficent and my mother pushed aside the knuckleheads. 

"Stealing candy girls? We're so disappointed." My mom said, fakely frowning. "It was from a baby." I said as Mal handed it to Maleficent. "That's our nasty little girls!" Maleficent praised while taking the candy from Mal.

Maleficent handed the lollipop to my mom. My mother spat on the lollipop and put it under her armpit. "Give it back to the dreadful creature." Mom said, giving it to one of the knuckleheads. Three other knuckleheads went behind us. "Ugh. Mom!" I complained. "It's the deeds girls that make the difference between mean," Maleficent waved to the mother of the baby, while finishing my moms sentence. "And truly evil!" 

Mal was talking with Maleficent while I was talking to my mom. "What's the point of my wand if I can't use it?" I complained. "It's so you can DESTROY itty-bitty-baby... POTTER!" My mom yelled. I rubbed her back. "Easy there, Ma." She seemed to remember something. "Oh! There's news! We buried the lead!" She exclaimed. I walked back over to my friends, me and Mal in front of Jay, Carlos, and Evie. 

"You five have been chosen to go to a different school..." My mother started. "In Auradon!" Maleficent concluded, raising her hand in the air. Evie, Jay, and Carlos tried to escape, but failed, being caught by the knuckleheads. 

"What?!" Mal yelled. I put my hand behind me to stop the other three from panicking. 

"I'm not going to a boarding school filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!" Evie strutted over to us. "And perfect princes!" Evie said. I turned to her glaring at her. She quickly pretended to be disgusted. "Ugh." Carlos and Jay walked over. "Yeah, and I don't do "uniforms" unless it's leather, ya feel me?" Jay said, pointing to the two women. I nodded. "Exactly!" I replied, giving Jay a high-five. "I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave..." Carlos trailed off. Me and Jay barked at him, making him jump. 

"Yeah, mom! We're not going!" Mal said as Jay rubbed his knuckles into my head. "Ow, ow!" I complained. "Oh, you're thinking small, dearies! It's all about world domination!" My mother yelled. "KNUCKLEHEADS!" Maleficent screamed, the guards following my mother and Mal's mom.

"Y/N!" "Mal!" Our mothers called in a singy voice. Jay hoisted me over his shoulder.
