𝒁𝑰𝑵𝑵𝑰𝑨 𝑾𝑨𝑺 𝑭𝑰𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 at home she was lucky she didn't have any house shows for the week. Considering her last two weeks have been hectic with becoming champion
She spent the day with her best friend Felicity she doesn't remember exactly when they became best friends but when Zinnia had first moved to Maine Felicity was the first person she talked to since she was the closest thing she had to neighbor since they both opted to live in a secluded part of the state
"So what you been up to CeCe?" Zinnia asked as the two lay on the dock behind Zinnia's house "It's been cool I've been chilling at home surprisingly" Felicity replied with a huff
"What you ain't been out?"Zinnia scoffed that's how things operated for the best friends Zinnia was the quiet one all thought her job required her to at least act outgoing but with Felicity she was actually outgoing she'd spend weekends days with Felicity listening to music or doing random stuff but during the nights she was out partying
"Yeah yo ass been out more than me" Felicity laughed turning to look at her best friends "Girl I've been ''out'' twice since the last time I texted you" The Chandler girl clarified
"Twice? When was the second time?" The outgoing girl asked propping herself up on her elbows
"I did something with Trinity and her crew two days ago" Zinnia shrugged turning to look at the girl's
"So you went out with Trinity and those hooligans twice?"
"I didn't really go out the second time I went to the pool for the twin's birthday the second time" Zinnia explained now sitting up with the girl
"So you were out with these fine ass men twice and ain't do anything!?" Felicity exclaimed with eyes "You do know one of them is married...to Trinity?" Zinnia questioned squinting her eyes
"So!? It's still another one!" Felicity yelled making Zinnia roll her eyes "In what universe am I even entertaining men?" She laughed rolling her eyes
"The one where your best friend is Felicity Haven" Felicity answered with a shrug making Zinnia roll her eyes and push Felicity's arms making her fall back
"Don't be doing that wrestling shit on me, Nia"
Her comment made Zinnia laugh she then sported a fake pout before hugging the girl "Aw I'm sorry"Zinnia jokingly said
"I'm serious I ain't been the same since I seen you throw someone over your head"
"Girl it's calling a suplex and you'll live" Zinnia laughed shaking her head "I don't give a damn but how's the other twin?"Felicity asked changing the subject back to the previous topic
"Girl huh?"
"The other twin!" The haven girl exclaimed, "Girl you still on this?"Zinnia groaned sitting back up
"Yes girl that's a fine ass man right there" Felicity announced making Zinnia scoff yeah right she thought "You know I'm not attracted to him right?"Zinnia asked tilting her head
"You should be"
"Girl get a grip"
"I'm just saying Nia you need to find a man"Felicity stated getting a blank stare in return "I don't date then even if I was to date him I don't want my character to revolve around a man"Zinnia argued frustrated
She got that Felicity's opinion was coming from a place of love but Zinnia felt like it was the wrong time then she didn't have a solid influence on how a good relationship should look
"I understand that I just want to see you grow girl hell you going to that party made me so happy-"Felicity huffed "lm just waiting to see you grow some more" She finished as she traced shapes on the wood beneath her
"Listen you'll be the first to know if I start to be interested in Joshua or any other man" Zinnia reassured her friend trying to give the girl hope
"You gotta give me time though I don't want anyone in my way right now"
"Say less but if I find a cute boy somewhere I might have to hook you up"
"I'll unfriend you so fast"Zinnia replied plainly making Felicity roll her eyes
"Zinnia I'm being serious" Felicity stated titling her head "I am being serious too CeCe"Zinnia replied with a slight smirk on her face
Zinnia learned never to take anything Felicity said to heart because most time Zinnia's intuition was correct she think she was right about this conversation
Why would I be interested in Joshua? She thought
she'd ask herself this question again down the line but that time the context would be different
