„A small encounter.."

Rui had been running through the forest, hoping to find a safe place.. she kept running.. her chest hurt, it felt like her insides were burning, she stops running, and falls to the ground. She passes out.

[A few hours passed]

She awoke to the sound of a twig snapping, she sat up quickly. Her chest hurt, it caused her to let out a small scream of pain, she also began crying... She was quickly silenced by someone grabbing her mouth gently, they had soft gloves on. "Stay calm... I'm not here to harm you, I promise dear.." It was a male voice.. his voice was soft and calm. "Now, dear, tell me, why are you out so late.. especially alone.." After saying that, he uncovered Rui's mouth. She whines a little, "I-I.. was running away from mama and papa..." The guy thinks for a moment. "Why dear?.." She was starting to crying again.. "b-because...." She couldn't continue saying what she was going to.. she bursts out in tears, sobbing.. The man held her close to him, in a hugging position.. "it's alright dear, how about I take you to my home? I can make you something to eat, or let you sleep!" He smiles, looking at the child happily. Rui nods, accepting his offer. "Alright! Let's go!" He quickly picks Rui up, and carries her with him!

Once they reached his house, he opens the door, and walks the child to his room. He gently sets her on the bed, "I'm Cesar, Cesar Torres, it's nice to meet you!" Rui yawns, "a-and I'm Rui.. it's nice meeting you to.." He makes her lay down, and smiles "good night, dear!"
