Now arriving at the main palace of Awa'atlu, the Sully's exited their respective carriages and were greeted by the royal guard and the King himself; Tonowari. Lo'ak was tensed with nerves as he observed the amount of people, his heart begining to quicken in pace.
"My fellow king, it is wonderful to see you and your family again." The rather intimidating looking man greeted them all kindly, being sure to acknowledge his wife Neytiri as well. The other children made sure to greet him by using their custom greetings while Lo'ak did so behind the rest of them.
"Yes it is lovely to see you as well and to finally have you meet my second son, Lo'ak." Jake returns his kindness, stepping to the side slightly to reveal his son who was secretly praying they would forget his presence.
"Ah yes, let me have a look at you son."
Lo'ak tries to swallow his nerves, timidly taking a step forward. He tilts his head up to meet the eyes of the robust man who was smiling down at him politely. Tonowari slowly trailed his eyes up and down the stiffened boy, almost examining him. He wanted to see for himself if he was anything like what the rumors where saying.
True to form; he was.
A side of his head was shaved whilst his beaded braids were tied back into a low ponytail. Stray braids partially covered one of his eyes, a sterling silver hoop being pierced into the top of his right ear along with a matching ring on his right hands ring finger as well. His black dress vest was cut low enough to reveal the lot of buttons undone on his white dress shirt, exposing his chest. The sleeves of his shirt had also been rolled up to his elbows, the only really neat thing about him being his black trousers and matching boots.
In that very moment Tonowari had wondered if he made the right decision letting his only daughter marry a boy who was known as nothing but a mere delinquent. Most princes carried themselves with good care and respect whereas Lo'ak well; ...he lacked a bit in the qualities Ronal and Tonowari were looking for. Still, it was too late to change his mind and he did not want to judge him too harshly so soon.
"You are quite...well built!" He spewed out the best words he could think of. It wasn't really a lie though; he really did think so and he found him to be a lot more attractive than her other suitor was. "Come then, you all must be tired from your journey. Our maids have prepared some refreshments for you to enjoy."
"Oh thank you very much." Jake and Neytiri are quick to thank him, the sound of relaxation exciting them after two weeks of travel. Tonowari nods his head in response, leading the Omatikaya rulers inside. Neteyam moves to give Lo'ak's shoulder a comforting squeeze before walking ahead of him and taking Tuktirey's hand in his to walk in with her. Kiri notices her brothers uneasiness and decides to tease him to lighten up his mood.
"That 'compliment' was quite... slow was it not??" She looks at him, watching as he rolled his eyes at her comment.
"Be quiet."☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
